🔨 Project Update – Apex Auto Works

Today we completed the installation of the framework for the new office space at Apex Auto Works. The structural frame is now fully in place, creating a solid foundation for the next stage of the build.

We’ve also successfully fitted the new UPVC door, ensuring secure access and a clean, professional finish to the entrance.

Great to see this project taking shape — looking forward to continuing the transformation of the new office space.

🛠 Today’s job in an older terraced house 🛠

Pulled up carpet and floorboards to track down a hidden leak in an older property. After locating the issue, I isolated the water supply using a valve tucked away under the floor — part of an old setup linked to an old back boiler and original coal fire.

The leaking pipework has now been identified, and the area has been made safe. All waste from the job has been taken away, keeping the property clean and tidy.

I’ll be back on Thursday to complete the repair, working alongside JG Plumbing & Pipe Fitting to get everything sorted properly.

Older houses often come with hidden surprises, and jobs like this are a good reminder of how important it is to take time and do things properly rather than rushing.
