At North tree care we always try to avoid removing trees where possible as there's usually a number of less drastic alternatives to achieve the customers desired results, but in this case it was mutually agreed that it was time to remove this fallen willow tree.

It had failed around a year prior and was being held up by a couple of mature silver birches. As a result the birches had been severely damaged and had started to lean quite substantially due to the pressure from the willow tree.

We came and sectionally dismantled the tree safely and effectively avoiding any further damage to neighbouring trees. Waste is always taken away unless specified otherwise and in the case the customer opted to keep the logs and woodchip for nature piles around the woodland.

All team members are City & Guilds qualified tree surgeons and have years of hands on experience .

We carried out a sympathetic crown reduction and thinning on this silver birch today im Winsford, along with the removal of all the epicormic growth.

The aim was to keep its natural shape while giving it a cleaner, lighter, and healthier structure and it really opened up nicely.

Always satisfying to step back and see the difference a careful prune can make!

This row of Leylandii in Davenham, Cheshire had shot up and were starting to encroach on the sheds and blocking the gutters.

Rather than removing the trees we decided the best option was a harsh reduction as it maintains the privacy but also makes them much less overbearing and much more manageable.
Working above the sheds added to the challenge, but we carefully reduced the whole line and left the space looking clean and open again. Customer kept all the chip and logs — nothing wasted 🌲🤗

Full takedown of a Scots Pine in Knypersley, Stoke On Trent completed safely and efficiently by our team.

We were called out by a concerned customer that explained that their tree had a severe lean towards their house, this was taking away all the natural light and blocking the gutters with needles. Due to the proximity to the house we used a rope rigging system to lower and guide each branch to the ground, taking away any potential risk.
