Progress update on our latest project 🔨
We’re proud to be carrying out more subcontracting works for Dylan Construction LTD on this beautiful detached stone property dating back to 1925. The team has completed a full rip out, taking the majority of plaster back to brick, lifting floors and removing existing joists ready for the new structure. We are also in the process of dropping ground floor walls in preparation for steel installation next week, which will transform the space into a stunning open plan kitchen diner.
Looking forward to sharing the next stage of this transformation!

A decent last week on our sandbach project. 🧱🧱

Flat start off our raft foundation, which was poured just before the Christmas break.

We were using the reclaimed bricks from the previous extension which the customer did a great job cleaning for us. However we did need a trip to Reclaimed World for an extra pack, which blended in perfectly.

We have one more day on brickwork to get the lintels on, then we are waiting for the roof joist.

We are also making a start on the next project for our good friends at Dylan Construction LTD, hopefully we can keep you up to date with our efforts on that project too. 💪🏽🧱

For anyone just here for the football updates. Our top trowel only went and bagged a hatrick and man of the match too. ⚽️

Well guys, we missed out on the Christmas and new year post but we hope everyone enjoyed the festive period and has a safe start to the new year! 🌨️❄️⛄️

The DD lads started as we finished. Super busy.

With Dylan Construction LTD cracking the whip we were straight back onto the Wilmslow project to get the extra steels in so it can be handed over to the plumber and electrician for first fixing.

We were also asked if we could get over to Wigan and do some urgent repairs on a Sports Direct branch where a car had crashed into the shop front.
We propped and sorted the inside Blockwork so the shop can be tidied up and put back together while we await delivery on the special order blocks to match the outside.

We have our fingers crossed that the weather picks up for next week so we can get our sandbach job moving as we have deliveries penciled in and the roof timbers on order.

We will keep you up to date if we are building extensions or snowmen next week 🤦🏽‍♂️

When people are slowing down for Christmas the DD lads are still smashing work out.

Another busy couple of weeks…

The wilmslow project is flying with the brickwork all up ready for the lintel to arrive, the chimney breast in the living room has been propped and removed ready for the steels to be installed.

Our Alderley edge landscape project has finally finished. 🙌🏽

We started our weekend garden wall project last week, getting a great start on that.

We have started another kitchen extension over in Sandbach on Thursday for our very patient clients getting our first grab load gone and out of the way for the weekend.

We have also sent off more steels specs for quotes for a job in January.

And after a dry patch we are finally back with Joel’s goals. A great display with a goal and man of the match performance 💪🏽.

Two weeks to go 🎄🎁 and I might let them have a couple of days off 😆

Another week smashed by the DD lads.

Footings dug and pass by building control ✅
Dug down to spec for floor prep ✅
6.8 cubic meters on concrete barrowed in ✅
Foundation brickwork well on its way ✅

We are also very nearly finished on our landscaping project, just some little tweaks and finishing touches and that will be another one ticked off.

We are also in the process of getting quotes back in for our foundation steelwork for our next project.

We had a great week last week, the lads cracking on well with the Wilmslow project for Dylan Construction LTD.
Full rip out, three steels installed and the extension dropped ready for the footings to be started on Tuesday.

The landscaping project nearing completion.

And a cheeky visit from Dan over at Eye Spy Security Official to install some fancy lighting and to kill the power on the extension project.

Hopefully the weather continues to be kind to us so we can keep ploughing on with more projects due to be started, and we will keep you up to date as we go. 🤞🏽🧱

We have been quiet again on here recently. But we have been mega busy finishing projects and starting a new ones.
This week the lads began the rip out on another project for Dylan Construction LTD where we will be dropping an existing extension ready to showcase our work building a beautiful new one for his customer in Wilmslow.
We are also waiting for the green light on one of our own projects over in Sandbach where we will be adding a rear kitchen extension for a lovely couple who have waited patiently for a slot with the Designer Dwellings team.
Keep your eyes peeled as we will do our best to bring you along for the ride. (I can’t promise though, as I’m awful at remembering to get my phone out, but we will try)

We have been off site this week on our family holiday.
But we always make sure things happen while we are away…
The lads have carried on getting the brickwork up on our project for Dylan Construction LTD allowing them to get the steels on and ready for the roof.
And Joel has also been doing bits on the field throughout August earning him player of the month.
Back to the grind tomorrow for a big push before the winter months start 😩🧱⚽️

Two good finishes last week…

Joel managed to finish off the brickwork on the main house for our friends at Dylan Construction LTD as we continued with the drainage and foundations for patio areas on another project. We will be back to complete the remaining brickwork on the extension once the scaffold has been dropped.
He also managed to bag himself another goal on our quest for the ballon dor. ⚽️🧱

Another weekend, another game of football. Off the back of two wins, the lads couldn’t get the win away but our guy Joel still putting in the performance to get man of the match.
