This fabulous home in March has been in our care for over 25 years now and we always love returning, the customer has fabulous taste and this re-decoration of the Hall, Stairs and Landing was no different, it's intricate and time consuming but extremely rewarding.

Stairs With a Difference......

Awaiting a carpet runner to complete, our customer wanted a mix of traditional wood grain mixed with a painted finish on their new stairs, we think it worked out very nicely, with an animal theme wallpapered feature wall in the Hallway just to make it really different, a rewarding project and a very happy customer.

We Love Transformations !

This wonderful Hall, Stairs and Landing had been finished in emulsion and wood stain for 15 years since the house was built, the customer wanted to transform the space and chose wallpaper along with a traditional white gloss finish for the timberwork, just leaving the handrail and newel posts to be finished in a darker stain and then laquered, the customer was delighted with the result which makes everything worthwhile and extremely rewarding for us .....

Kitchen unit painting is becoming increasingly popular and offers a very cost effective alternative to having a new installation, however it is also one of the easiest projects to get completely wrong, carried out incorrectly the result will either be a complete mess or the paint will peel off in a very short space of time, we are seeing a lot of quick fix companies offering a miracle service which will fail very quickly, a well prepared and well painted kitchen should last for many years without concern, at Norfolk Decorating we've been doing this a long time, over 55years in fact, in this example the upvc window was also taken from a wood grained finish to a brilliant white satin finish .....
