The homeowner was struggling to sell their property due to spray foam insulation in the roof so we stepped in and safely removed it.

We then stripped off the old clay tiles, installed new felt and battens, and finished the roof with brand new brown concrete granular double Roman tiles for a clean, durable look.

This project was recently completed at a property in London. The client was unable to proceed with the sale due to the poor condition of the roof, so we worked quickly to resolve the issues and help move the sale forward.

The works included replacing rotten rafters and the ridge beam where required, installing new natural slates, a breathable membrane, and treated battens. All works were fully signed off by Building Control and completed with a 10-year insurance-backed warranty, enabling the client to proceed with the sale of the property ๐Ÿ

This project was completed with care in collaboration with the conservation officer, as the property is a listed building. We installed a temporary roof, retained the original structure, and fitted new rafters, felt, battens, and tiles as agreed. The dormers were restored with new lead work, and the job was signed off as building-control compliant with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee. The customer is thrilled with the result.

Our customer couldnโ€™t sell their property due to spray foam insulation in the roof, so we stepped in.

We:

๐Ÿ—๏ธ Erected scaffolding and carefully removed all tiles, spray foam, felt, and battens.

โ™ป๏ธ Installed new breathable felt and battens, reusing the original tiles where possible (and replacing any damaged ones).

๐Ÿ  Cemented the verges and ridge tiles to preserve the homeโ€™s original character.

The work is now complete, comes with a 10-year guarantee from Reebick, and has been signed off by Building Control.

The customer can now move forward with their sale.

We recently completed this lovely roof replacement in Cambridge, where the property was located in a conservation area meaning it was essential to match the original style and character of the surrounding homes.

We removed the spray foam insulation removed as well as:

๐Ÿ”จ Removed all existing tiles and foam
๐Ÿชš Added sister rafters to level the roof
๐Ÿ’จ Installed a breathable membrane
๐Ÿชต Fitted treated battens
๐Ÿงฑ Retiled using Staffordshire Blue Clay Tiles, including decorative club clay tiles to keep the traditional street aesthetics spot on

All work is backed by a 10-year guarantee and comes with a Building Control Compliance Certificate.

Another quality job completed by Reebick! โœ…
Our customer had spray foam insulation that needed removing and had gained planning permission for a rear dormer installation.

We got to work by stripping all the slate tiles, carefully removing the spray foam, and taking out the existing rafters. These were upgraded to 6x2 treated timbers to meet current building regs. We then cut in the new dormer exactly to the architectโ€™s drawings.

The roof was reinstalled with a new breathable membrane, battens, vented slates, a dry ridge system, and finished in beautiful Spanish slates.

All work fully signed off by building control.

The customer required a full roof replacement due to the presence of closed-cell spray foam insulation. All rafters, fascia boards, soffits, and guttering were renewed. Brown granular concrete tiles were installed, complete with a dry ridge system. Additionally, the rear chimney was removed to below roof level at the customerโ€™s request. All work was approved by building control and comes with a 10-year guarantee provided by Reebick.

All the work was signed off by Building Control and we provided them with a completion certificate stating that all spray foam had been successfully removed as well as providing them with a 10 year guarantee. The customer was very happy and so were we.
