April was the busiest month I've ever had in business — and one I almost didn't write about.
Spain. Budapest. Milan. Scotland. Seven live projects. Being a dad. And in the middle of all of it, a sophisticated email hack that left me significantly out of pocket.
I sat down to write this week's Surface Notes — our weekly(ish) newsletter from inside Aura Surfaces — and decided to be honest about all of it. The brilliant bits. The bruising ones. And the bigger decision the month pushed me towards: after 25 years in this industry, and two years building Aura Surfaces on my own, I think it might be time to open the doors and bring someone alongside me.
