From rough opening to a perfectly finished feature👌

This archway was built from scratch, then finished using 3mm arch beads to create a crisp, seamless curve ready for decoration. It’s the little details that make all the difference. 🔥

So here's 3 full extension walls, all dotted and dabbed in a single day.

Creating a brand new archway from scratch. 👌

This one was formed using bonding coat, with the plasterboard cut perfectly on both sides to create a clean, symmetrical curve. Taking the time to get the shape right at this stage means a much smoother finish later on.

Next, it'll be fitted with specialist arch beads before being skimmed over to complete the look. Looking forward to showing the finished result.

Sometimes the cleanest finish comes from choosing the right method. 👌

No dot and dab on this bathroom wall floating it was the better option to keep the existing door lining right where it needed to be.

Moisture-resistant boards in the background, British Gypsum mould-resistant scrim tape on the joints, and plenty of attention to the little details like scraping back the edges for a crisp finish.
A satisfying one from start to finish.

Another step forward on this extension in Woking. 💪

Today's job was dot and dabbing the plasterboard, getting everything straight, solid and ready for the next stage. It's great seeing this project come together one room at a time. Plenty more to come as the build progresses.

First plastering set back from holiday, and of course, I drop some on my head on the first trowel😅

Always takes a couple minutes to get back in the flow after a break.
