WallWorks Pro Plastering

WallWorks Pro Plastering I turn mess into masterpiece. All I need is a trowel (and maybe a custard cream)πŸ˜„

Final skim-off to close out the renovation 🏁

Had to make the last set interesting, so it turned into a little Wallworks vs RDR head-to-head πŸ˜…

Big respect to Richard from RDR Plastering, good banter, good standards, and a proper way to finish the job off πŸ‘Š

Who do you reckon took the win? πŸ₯‡

One of the simplest ways to work smarter, not harder.

Masking tape around window frames protects the surfaces, creates crisp edges, and saves loads of time cleaning up afterwards.

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference.

Would you tape up first, or clean up after? πŸ‘‡

Some walls look straightforward until you start knocking off the loose sections.

This one had plenty of blown plaster that needed removing, re-floating, and levelling before I could even get the skim on. Add in the pipework and gas meter to work around, and it turned into one of those jobs that takes a lot more care and patience than people realise.

A proper finish always starts with proper preparation. No shortcuts, just taking the time to get it right.

Another wall brought back to life by Wallworks Pro Plastering.

This ceiling swallowed 2 bags of plaster. It was so wavy along the joists, meaning some areas needed only 1mm and then others needing upwards of 4-5mm.

Using a spatula allows you to really flatten out that 1st coat, creating a nice flat base for the second coat. Turning an old wobbly ceiling flat and smooth. Ready for paintβœ…

Woking project Completedβœ…

All prepped, lined and skimmed. Needed lots of work but eventually we got there, with a result the client and I can be proud of. On to the next one.

Had fun on this job. Ensuite ripped out, plumbing cut and capped by Noremac Heating, new electrics by

Then patched up with plasterboard, bonding and a skim coat, blended seamlessly into the existing. As if it was never there in the first place.

Ps. I’m not actually 40πŸ˜†

The Wallworks page turns 1 today!πŸŽ‰

1 year ago I never would have thought this page would grow how it did. I just wanted to share my work and build a portfolio I guess… I never expected anyone to care.

But now, being able to make content to entertain, teach and showcase my work to thousands of you guys. And sometimes, hundreds of thousandsπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« (still can’t get over that) it’s something I could have never wished for.

So thank youπŸ™

I’ve had to take some time off after an ankle injury, but I’m back and more content on its way!πŸŽ‰

Good old bit of float & set here. These walls were in desperate need of straightening out. During the construction of the extension, these walls needed modifying to suit.

Also, making these utility walls plum and true makes it a breeze for the fitters!πŸ˜ƒ
