Being a Fellow of Perennial introduces you to some of the most interesting and enthusiastic people in horticulture. I was lucky enough to spend the day yesterday with a group touring the wonderful planting and architectural landscaping of Kings Cross and The Aga Khan Centre. Stephen Crisp was our fabulous guide giving us an insight into his many years as Head Gardener of The US Embassy in London and showing us how design and planting is so important at Kings Cross for all to benefit . The roof garden at the Aga Khan Centre was spectacular and a haven of peace and contemplation. Just wanted to share these wonderful Rosa banksiae with you if you haven’t had a chance to see them yet as you enter the nursery. I think the hot summer of last year has created abundant flowers this season. We propagate these in house but almost all gone now but one to remember in your future planting plans.
