Project Location: Chineham Project: The Retriever 🐶

A thoughtfully designed outdoor space created to bring structure, softness and year-round enjoyment to family living.

The original garden lacked definition and cohesion, with little framing throughout the borders and limited usability across the space. Our vision was to create a clean, architectural garden that still felt warm, inviting and connected to nature.

The transformation centres around elegant porcelain paving using Roca Beige porcelain, carefully laid to create a timeless and refined entertaining space. Porcelain-clad raised beds introduce depth, structure and longevity, whilst beautifully framing the garden with clean contemporary lines.

Charcoal porcelain plank edging was incorporated throughout to add contrast and definition, helping soften the transition between paving, lawn and planting areas. A newly re-turfed lawn now provides a fresh, level and practical space for everyday family use.

Pleached trees were installed to create privacy and vertical interest, bringing a sense of maturity and enclosure to the garden. Low-level sleeper beds help frame the borders naturally, complemented with Cotswold stone throughout for a softer, elegant finish.

The planting was personally selected by the clients, allowing the garden to feel truly individual whilst complementing the wider design palette and architecture of the space.

The result is a balanced and sophisticated garden designed for both relaxation and entertaining. A space that feels calm, structured and effortless to enjoy throughout the seasons.

Garden Makeover completed out in Wokingham. Raj Porcelain 900 x 600 with Raj 200 x 100 setts. Sleeper raised bed with bespoke benches. New lawn and lighting to finish. Whilst the team were on site we installed a new back door to the garage also.

Basingstoke 🍃 Sheffield-on-Loddon Project

A complete garden transformation designed to completely change the way this space could be used and enjoyed.

The original garden was on a huge slope which made the space feel broken up, difficult to use and much smaller than it actually was. Our goal with this project was to create structure, usable zones and a garden that felt far more open, premium and practical for everyday living.

To achieve this, we completely reworked the levels of the garden and created two separate tiers, allowing the space to naturally flow whilst giving each area its own purpose. Although this wasn’t a huge garden, the finished result now feels significantly larger and far more impressive, especially from the bird’s-eye view where you can really see the contrast compared to the neighbouring gardens.

Across the garden we installed all new Pietra Pearl porcelain paving from Royale Stones, paired with charcoal porcelain plank detailing from London Stone to add contrast and help break up the space. At the centre of the garden sits a bespoke pergola, handcrafted on-site and finished in a Tudor Oak black stain, creating a gorgeous focal point for relaxing and entertaining.

Matching Tudor Oak stained fencing helps tie the whole garden together and gives the space a much warmer and more vibrant feel, whilst the cedar screening feature in the corner creates a stunning backdrop as you look out from the house.

To soften the space, we introduced fresh new lawn, decorative gravel areas, feature stone and layered planting throughout the garden, helping balance the clean architectural lines with texture and colour.

The end result is a garden that now feels structured, luxurious and far more usable. Proving that even smaller gardens can feel incredible when the layout and zoning is designed properly.

A garden reimagined to bring beauty, structure and purpose to everyday outdoor living.

The original space offered little opportunity to enjoy the garden fully. With uneven ground made up largely of mud and loose stones, the area lacked both safety and clear connection from the driveway at the rear of the garden to the house. There was also no dedicated setting for entertaining, despite the clients owning a Big Green Egg, and no level lawn where their young children could play comfortably.

Our design approach focused on transforming the space into a garden that balances family life with elegant outdoor entertaining.

At the heart of the garden sits a bespoke Vergola, paired with a beautifully crafted outdoor kitchen, creating a sheltered setting for cooking, dining and hosting guests throughout the seasons. Three porcelain terraces introduce structure and flow, while a porcelain plank stepping-stone pathway gently guides you through the garden.

Raised beds allow the family to grow their own vegetables, while lavender planters introduce subtle fragrance and colour. Layered planting beds provide texture, height and seasonal interest, softened with decorative stone and bark mulch for a refined finish.

The entire garden was carefully regraded and completed with a newly levelled lawn, offering a safe and welcoming space for the children to enjoy.

The result is a garden that feels considered, elegant and effortlessly functional. Designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
