🌟 Planning Success! 🌟

We’re delighted to share that planning approval has been granted for another replacement dwelling in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire!

This beautiful new home replaces a modest bungalow with a thoughtfully designed, two-storey residence nestled in nearly four acres of landscaped gardens and surrounded by mature woodland in Baldwins Gate. Anchored by a dramatic double-height hallway, the house blends rural character with light-filled, contemporary living spaces.

The planning process followed a very proactive and collaborative pre-application meeting with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council, who were supportive of the scheme from the outset and we’re grateful for the planning support from Ben Weatherley at Knights.

Updated site photos from our affordable housing scheme in Chirbury 🏡

Works are really moving at a pace on site, aided by this very dry spell. Some of the fenestration details are starting to take shape. All materials, head, sill and corbel details have been carefully designed to match the details of existing Chirbury village centre buildings.

The affordable housing development for Shropshire Rural Housing Association in Chirbury is coming along fast. Thanks to contractor SJ Roberts, the first 9 of 13 timber frames are already up, with windows and doors in place. In just two weeks, we’ve seen significant progress on site. The prefabricated timber frame construction, supplied by Lowfield Timber, allows for faster build times and we’re excited to watch this project take shape and make a positive impact on the village.

We’ve just received planning approval to demolish the existing office on Marsh Street, Hanley, and replace it with brand-new, purpose-built headquarters! 🚧✨
Designed with the community in mind, this modern space will feature:

Ellis Hillman Partnership were instructed by the YMCA North Staffordshire to design a Transitional Housing Development consisting of 46no. Apartments on a site located adjacent to the existing YMCA North Staffordshire campus.

The accommodation is designed around a secure courtyard/amenity space, with building mass along Harding Road and Grace Crescent to tie in with the existing context.
