MULTI TRADER / WET ROOM / BATHROOM FITTER
We are looking for a multi trader who has experience of working on level access showers adaptations (Wet rooms) to join our highly motivated team
PRICE PER BATHROOM
Range
£1600-2000

Average completion 8-10 working days.

Typical day to day activities on a level access adaptation include:

•Strip outs: Isolating hot and cold feeds,
• Removing existing Bath, tiles and flooring.
• Firsr fix plumbing: Routing all existing pipework out of wet area and running of new cold feed to shower.
• Make good walls for tiling: dry line or bonding of walls.
•Studwork : Some studwork my be needed to house pipework and electrics
• Fit tuff form tray: cut out sub floor to facilitate laying of tuff form tray and running of new gravity waste and connections.
•Prep subfloor: Laying of 6mm plywood overlay in remaining floor area.
•Wall Tiling: Approx 8m2 of tiling in wet area and splash back on basin. average tile size 250 x250mm
•Remove and refit existing WC to facilitate the laying of new safety flooring.
•Second fix plumbing: fit new basin and semi ped. Fit new shower.
•Fit new standard 750mm wet room screens.
•Fitting of Grab rails: communicate with client on best position. Decoration when needed Swing and rehang door
•Clean and seal

Flooring to be carried out by others.
Electrics to be carried out by others.

Experience in plumbing, tiling and carpentry is essential for this roll.

Must have own tools and transport.

All plumbing materials and products will be provided this is a labour only position.

Applicant must be able to work as part of a team and communicate well as you will need to speak to aligning trades and client on a regular basis to make sure we hit completion targets.

Due to our continuing expansion we are looking for experienced sub-contractors specialised in Bathroom adaptations (Wet rooms) for installations in the West Midlands area.

We can offer the right candidate a continuous and steady workload throughout the year, working as part of our team.

Duties to be carried out are as follows:
•Full bathroom strip out
•All necessary alterations to water supply, waste and heating pipe work within bathroom area
•Installation of both gravity and pumped level access shower trays
•Electric shower installation
•Fit new WC and WHB
•Fit new grab rails, drop down rails and shower seat
• Fit shower screen doors and curtains
•Building of full height stud work, low level boxing to conceal services
•Install ceramic tiles to wet areas (approx 8-10m2)
•Floor preparation, fit 6mm ply or latex self levelling compound depending on substrate
•Plasterboarding, skimming to non wet areas and ceiling

All electrics will be carried out by separate contractor
All safety flooring will be carried out by separate contractor

Pay will be per job £800-£1000

Schedule: 8 till 5

You will need
• A valid CSCS card
•Asbestos awareness certificate
•Full uk driving license
•Own Van
•Own tools
• At least 3 years bathroom fitter experience along with wet room experience
•solid references and photo evidence of recent work undertaken

Another one we managed to get over the line for one of our clients before Christmas,
We were only due to tile this one but had to do a few bits of the first fix to complete the tiling, then with the clients plumber not being able to make it one of our lads stepped in to do the second fix and to be honest I glad because the bathroom looks amazing. The clients choices of Matt black fittings , bespoke basin unit and their colour choice on the walls 👌🏻 make for a beautiful bathroom

Another level access shower finished in time for Christmas,
All tiles and suite supplied by ourselves at select, was a real team effort on this one and with us delivering the bathroom this customer desperately needed
