WE'RE HIRING!
We are a family run business based in Bromeswell, Suffolk providing the hire of catering equipment for parties and weddings. We are currently looking for someone to join our team and help the office run smoothly.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in our office located in Bromeswell, Suffolk. Anglian Catering Equipment Hire Ltd (ACE Hire Ltd) are looking for an enthusiast and highly motivated individual to become our Office Administrator Assistant. The ideal candidate will be able to support our busy operation on a permanent basis. This is a multifunctional role and will involve all aspects of office administration and support. This is a fast-paced role and requires excellent levels of attention to detail and accuracy.
Hours: 30-36.5 Hours
Salary: depending on agreed hours based on Β£10.42 per hour
Working week between the hours of: Monday β Thursday 9am-5pm and 9am-4pm Friday
Start date: Provisionally March/April 2023
Your key responsibilities will include:
β’ Work as part of a small team to ensure the quality of service and customer satisfaction is maintained.
β’ Process and respond to queries via telephone and email.
β’ Update and manage database records.
β’ Manage inbound and outbound telephone calls.
β’ Creating and updating hire orders for customers.
β’ Assisting the warehouse team by preparing hire order paperwork.
β’ Be accountable for ensuring paperwork is filed away promptly and correctly.
β’ Write up meeting notes and prepare documents for meetings.
The ideal candidate:
β’ Must be able to drive or have a reliable system in place to travel to and from work as the office is based in a rural setting with no links to public transport.
β’ Must be able to work well under pressure as we are a seasonal company and we are very busy during the summer months.
β’ Must be competent and confident on the telephone and be able to deal with customers effectively and with compassion.
β’ Must be able to use a computer for emails as well as programmes such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher and Microsoft Excel.
β’ Training will be provided for work specific programmes such as Sage Accounts and InspHire (some prior knowledge of these systems are ideal but not essential).
β’ Will be good at problem solving.
β’ Will be good at working both as part of a team and independently.
β’ Must be a quick and keen learner as during busy periods the role is in a fast paced environment.
β’ Be competent at taking instruction and delivering on agreed tasks.
β’ Will have good communication and organisational skills.
β’ Will have a friendly, yet professional manner, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
β’ Will have the ability to prioritise work in a demanding environment.
