Two birthday cakes today with a gap of 77 years! Lol one for a 3 year old & one for a 80 year old. The vanilla sponge princess castle with all the Disney princesses peaking out from the windows & the tail of the little mermaid in the moat. The 2nd cake is again vanilla sponge with the lady verger, her favourite flowers, of course in sugar & her playful kitty cat... What do you think?... X

Ran out of time to post this beauty at the weekend & what a weekend to choose for your big day, fabulous!
This was setup at the Petwood Hotel in Woodhall Spa for Cordelia & Adam's wedding .......the cake was delish vanilla sponge split & filled with buttercream & raspberry jam before a layer of white Belgian chocolate ganache & sugarpaste. All the flowers are of course sugar, I love making flowers, & the bride & groom on top. Tell me your thoughts please......x

A big cake this week the base is fruitcake, the 2nd lemon sponge, the 3rd fruitcake, the 4th chocolate & the top tier carrot cake. Golden edible stars, clouds & a crescent moon finish the front & "I love you to the moon and back on the back of the cake.. All setup yesterday in the lovely Beonna in Bennington nr Boston. Your thoughts please.. X

4 tiers of deliciousness for a lovely naval couple on their big day. The bride is a submariner & her new hubby is a sailor. The cake, vanilla, red velvet, fruitcake & carrot cake. All swathed in sugarpaste with roses, anchors, Daisies, bows as well as their beloved pooch munching the cake & a can of beer.... Your thoughts please... X

Yesterday I did a 160 mile round trip to deliver this wedding cake and on my birthday! I do love what I do & hope the wedding party loved the very personal design as much as I did baking & creating it. Everything is of course edible & the bottom tier is hand painted. The flavours are vanilla, lemon & chocolate sponges....your thoughts please......x

Thought I'd add this today just because.......the base tier lush lemon sponge, the top tier a delicious carrot cake & the cellophaned cupcakes vanilla sponge. All with a selection of sugar flowers & foliage, deep red roses, Irish Shamrock & Sea holly....All set up at the wonderful Abbey Farm....What do you think?...x
