6 months of number 50 and today our planning permission was accepted! 🥳

Carpets are on order and arriving NEXT FRIDAY! So all hands on deck to finish all the painting upstairs and final bits and bobs! We cannot wait to have a bedroom again!

The rest of the house is on hold this week, but we’ve had some bathroom and garden progress!

One month of number 50! 🥳
As we’re both working on the house in our spare time, it’s taking quite a while to get things done. But so happy with how far we’ve come in just one month. Chimney swept, boiler in, stud wall built, cables in upstairs ready for plastering, bathroom suite on order! Laid some temporary grass for Mia and she’s one happy pooch despite the constant mess and unsafe zones! One cut finger and let’s not talk about my nails 🙃😅! But I think we’re smashing it!

Some before pics of the house before we get too carried away! Day 2 and we’re stripping wallpaper and taking up carpet. We’re living in the house whilst we complete this renovation so making it ‘liveable’ as quickly as possible is a must!

Another room now complete! 🙌🏽Knocked through the partition wall to create a lovely open plan kitchen/living space with lots of natural light. This even allowed enough space for us to have a downstairs shower room (still a working progress) 🏡
