Afternoon all 😊

TL;DR: sale day this Saturday 10am-2pm! Lots of bargains! Drop me a message to let me know you’re coming.

Things are starting to wake up a bit more now so I think it’s time to clear the decks! I’ve got phlox, achilleas, sedum, lambs ear, loads of heucheras…. Come and have a nose 😊

I’ve also got quite a few of the cute little fella in the photo. He’s a baby perennial iberis, just coming into flower 🥰 don’t let his cuteness deceive you though! Give him a few years and he will make a lovely big groundcover.

Hope to see some more of you on the weekend x

The season begins! I’m starting the moving sale with some amazing, big heucheras in 3 litre pots.

These have great impact when planted in groupings, so it’d be rude not to do a quantity discount….

£6 each

OR

3 for £15

I also have some smaller heucheras priced at £2-£4 each. The photos show some available varieties, but I have plenty more!

More plants to follow as things continue to wake up 🙂

Happy (almost) spring everyone! I have some exciting news that I can finally let you in on….

A lot of my customers know that I love to grow cut flowers and I am over the moon to say that I have decided to try and make a living at it!

We’ll be moving out of Worcester to our new home and flower farm, but don’t panic! I will be travelling into Worcester regularly and can make deliveries of plants (and bouquets!) on my travels.

Things in the garden are starting to wake up now, so I’ll be doing a big sale of all current plant stock in the next few weeks. I really hope to see some of you before we move 😊

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🥰! I hope your day is everything you want it to be, and that next year brings you all the good things.

Thank you for your amazing support this year. I’ve met so many lovely people 😊 As some of you know, we have some pretty interesting flower-based developments in the pipeline for next year, so keep yer eyes peeled! x

Have you noticed that a lot of nurseries are now using these taupe-coloured plant pots? Unlike the older black pots, these taupe ones can be recycled in with your household recycling! Just make sure to give them a rinse out first.

All my 3 litre perennials come in the recyclable taupe pots, and all my home-grown plants are sold in repurposed pots, many of which are also the taupe kind and can be recycled. I am also always grateful to receive back any empties to use all over again…and again…

Is it weird to be excited by this forecast? 😂😂
‘Tis the season to be planting!

I think one of the best things about being a gardener is having a good nose at other people’s spaces and getting all inspired. I’m always really chuffed when customers send me photos of their plants in their new homes.

If you have planted a new border/pot/garden lately, I’d love you to share a photo in the comments and to tell me a bit about it, if you can 😊

On a different note, a lot of you know that I have been up to my eyeballs with my studies these last few weeks so I haven’t been as active with my plants, but I do still have some beautiful things available. If this weekend is looking like a planting weekend, drop me a message and we’ll get you sorted 😊 x

It happened again 😳😳

So many beautiful new things, including a tonne of salvias! Some of these never made it to my garden as they were snapped up off my drive this afternoon by some of my lovely customers, but I have a good selection left. I have a feeling they won’t hang around so drop me a message to reserve one 😊

An honourable mention also to the anemones for being one of the very prettiest things you can put in a crap spot under a tree.

On a different note, I’m at 99 page likes! I am so chuffed with how things have gone in the few short months since I became social media official, and so grateful for all the support I’ve received, all the new people I have met and all the existing customers who keep coming back 🥰 thank you so much!! X

Me: I really need to wind things down for the season and concentrate on my work

Also me: Look at all these pretty things I just bought!! 😍😂

It’s the best time of year for planting perennials, so I guess it would be rude not to!

I’ve got 5 litre potted roses, some fancy Japanese anemones, some beautiful lavender penstemon and some impressive heucheras, which are perfect for winter interest.

I’ve also managed to get my hands on some purple perennial verbena. I have a drift of this in my garden that a lot of people have asked for, but this is the first time I’ve had some available to sell. Mine started flowering in May and it’s still in full flower now. Ya can’t argue with that! I’m afraid I can’t remember everyone who has asked for this, so drop me a message if you were one of them 😊

A reminder that today is the last day I’m offering 5 for £30 on the large 3 litre perennials. They are usually £7 each or 3 for £20. Everything in the photos is included in the offer, except the roses which are £10. I also still have some echinacea left.

Drop me a message to reserve your favourite or arrange a visit to browse 🌺😊🌺

One question I get asked all the time is, what can I grow under/near a tree? While lots of shade-loving plants can survive the dry conditions if you give them extra water, it can be hard to find something that actually thrives in such a tough spot.

Hold my beer 😂

I give you these beautiful double yellow geums!
Lovingly home grown from seed collected by plant-whisperer, Nanna Howett.

They brighten up a shady spot with tonnes of cheery yellow flowers from late April all the way through to June, and the rest of the year you can enjoy their attractive evergreen foliage. They will get themselves established really quickly, so they don’t need to be coddled through dry spells. This big drift of them in my garden makes me soooo happy every spring 😍

Also worth an honourable mention are these blue hardy geraniums, which do very well in similar conditions and flower from June onwards.

1 litre geums are £4 and geraniums are £3. Drop me a message to reserve one 😊
