Nice little fake chimney breast built finished off with oak mantle and brick lips round the inside. These and media walls are very popular with customers at the moment. This project has really come on a long way since day one, right from totally ripping everything out across all floors and even taking at the floors out to a complete empty shell then to start rebuilding and turning this building into some 3 spacious apartments .
Although has come a long way we also still have a long way to go to completely finish. Really happy with the progress so far.

Kitchen ripped out and dividing wall taken down to bring 2 rooms into one to create a space double the size for a new kitchen.
Everything been boarded and skimmed then flooring gone down all through new kitchen space, hallway and down stairs toilet. Now just the painting, skirting and architraves to go before new kitchen goes in.

Nice little flat roof decked out, little lantern added then fibreglass to finish and make this completely water tight.
This last minute cut out for a lantern will create alot of natural light down onto the stair well below.

A lot of work going into these ceilings this week having 2x2 onto all the rafters then 50mm celotex between rafters leaving at least 50mm air gap behind between insulation and felt, then 100mm celotex insulation crossed all the way over the top on rafters, 25mm batten, then air guard vapour barrier followed by more batten over the top.
All these ceilings all nearly ready for 1st fix electrics then plaster boarding to follow after that.

Progress of ground floor so far.
Whole floor had dpm then insulated then more dpm ready for the liquid screed to go into create the new floor level then was able to start working off plans to start the stud walls creating all the bedrooms, en-suites, bathroom corridors, kitchen and living area.
A lot of work going into this job and coming nicely.

Progress so far of the new roof plus 1st and 2nd floor.
Old roof stripped then repaired with 3 new dormers built for new windows then roof had all new felt,batten and tiles to make all water tight ready to move forward with work inside.
So much work has gone into this renovation so far including
Steels
Block work where needed
Stud walls to external walls, insulation then vapour barrier and counter batten to spec.
Then moving onto internal walls to create all the rooms needed which there is still work to do.
Temporary stair cases coming out to allow for new staircase in couple of weeks.

Big job renovating this big building into 3 apartments this is what it looked like when we walked in but coming along nicely since we started by completely gutting the place by ripping everything out, knocking walls down to create big open spaces on 3 floors.
