A very long overdue redo of our old dining room table. As you can see the original finish had all but worn off and it looked really tatty. Still needs a final coat of varnish to increase its durability but after a bit of experimenting with different colours I'm pleased with how it turned out. Also please excuse the mess🙈, I probably should have cleared up Riley's shredded cardboard before I took photos but when you are living in the middle of building work the mess never seems to end🤷

Just a small injection of colour can really change the feel of a space, acting like a "pop" of energy or a focal point, immediately shifting the mood without needing a massive renovation. People are often reluctant to paint exposed wood thinking it needs to be left a 'natural' wood colour but see how it's gently softened the space making this lounge feel more calming and relaxing.

Looking gorgeous in Green Smoke. The hardest part with this fabulous Hall, Stairs & Landing was figuring out when to stop with the prep. The spec was to keep the original character but bring it all up to a high finish and I think I achieved that. It's tempting to fill every blemish but in this case I compromised by just filling the pin holes and repairing damage from decades of removed picture hangings and caulking all the gaps.

These inherited cabinets were not a good colour match for the room but now in Farrow and Ball eggshell in De Nimes along...

Whilst still liking the original colour choices for their kitchen this couple wanted greater depth of colour so the wall colour of Dimity was transferred to the ceiling and the walls darkened to Scallop a lovely deep but delicate pink to compliment the brick work round the Aga. Rather than introduce an additional colour the small amount of woodwork was also painted in Dimity.
