Bathroom ceiling drama! 🛁💥

We were asked to sort out this bathroom because the ceiling was bubbling and flaking.

While it's easy to assume it was just a typical bathroom issue, this was actually a case of the original plaster and paint failing to bond properly from day one!

​Instead of just slapping a fresh coat over the mess and hoping for the best, we stripped back the loose layers and gave the space a rock-solid upgrade.

​What We Used:

🔵 Zinsser Peel Stop (the absolute secret weapon to glue down those loose edges)

🔵​ Zinsser Perma-White Matt (2 coats to keep the surface fresh and mould-free)

Bye-Bye Blue! 👋💙 Hello Apple of my Eye! 🍏✨

We recently had the privilege of helping this room find its glow again. By clearing away the old shelving and transitioning away from those heavy blue tones, we’ve created a space that feels open, calm, and incredibly bright.

​Why we chose Dulux Apple White:

🍏 The Perfect Tint: It’s a brilliant alternative to plain white—it has just a hint of "orchard fresh" green that adds a subtle warmth and a natural feel to the walls.

🍏 Light-Reflecting: It catches the sunlight perfectly, making even the smallest rooms feel much more spacious.

🛡️ The Pro Prep: To make sure that delicate color stayed true, we used Zinsser blockers to ensure the old dark blue stayed firmly in the past.

We've just finished giving this space a fresh lease of life using Brilliant White, to make everything feel open and energised.

By stripping back the old look and bringing in this clean, balanced white we've made the most of every bit of natural light. Whether it's the morning rush or a quiet evening wind-down, it's now the perfect backdrop for a busy home.

A Tranquil Shade for a Tiny Treasure 🍼👶✨

There is something so special about prepping a nursery. We’re currently transforming this space into a calm, soothing sanctuary—ready for the patter of tiny toes. We've used the ever-popular Dulux Egyptian Cotton in Matt for the walls, a lovely and gentle neutral that brings a sense of warmth and quiet to the room. To keep things looking fresh and bright, we’ve added Dulux Brilliant White Matt to the ceiling and Dulux Brilliant White Satinwood to the woodwork for that perfect, tidy finish. It creates a space that feels snug and peaceful, just right for that precious little one.
