Day two of our latest kitchen fit out

Today in consultation with the structural engineer, we have significantly altered the proposed method of support.

The solution did involve two steel beams, upon exposing the full structure we are now utilising a timber solution. This saves a week wait for the steels to be fabricated.

Today:

✅ - Consulted at length with structural engineer

✅ - Completed procurement to the new timber specification

✅ - Built a C24 graded timber structural stud wall

✅ - Exposed lintel above main kitchen window to confirm structurally sound

✅ - Stripped artex & render from now removed pantry

✅ - Plumbing tidy up & first fix

✅ - Meet Electrician to confirm layout for Electrical first fix

✅ - Completed small remaining strip out tasks

🔜 - Installation of structural timbers

✅ - Ceilings down
✅ - Floor coverings removed
✅ - Stud wall down
✅ - Structural supports in
✅ - Brick built pantry removed

Little WC recently completed in Angmering.

This project incorporated a concealed cistern and back to wall pan 🚽 from RAK Ceramics. LED lighting 💡has been placed on an occupancy sensor so no more ‘did I leave the light on?’ 🤔

The room has been fully tiled on the walls with a bespoke cut flush fit mirror 🪞 A new tiled floor has been laid through to the front door 🚪

The client wanted a comfort height bidet toilet which could only be achieved by selecting a wall hung toilet. We incorporated a motion sense pneumatic flush for ease of use.

The Mira Showers platinum digital shower was the perfect solution for the showering area allowing for simple for water flow and temperature when showering.
