One working week in, with one rolled digger, and we’ve completed most of the demolition while getting both buildings up to DPC level. 💪

We’ve decided to leave the final section of the demolition and floor breakout until after we’ve built the walls and installed the roof on the extension.

This means our clients can keep using their kitchen and bathroom for as long as possible, with only a short period of disruption when it’s time to swap everything over. 👌

Loaded up, unloaded, and on site at our latest project today. 💪

We’re all set to start the demolition tomorrow, get the site cleared, and have everything marked out ready to break ground first thing Monday morning. The digger is booked, the grab lorry is ready for the first load, and we’re good to go.

✅ Cutting lists completed for every stage of the build – keeping everything running smoothly while we’re in full swing.
✅ Electrician booked.
✅ Plumber booked.
✅ Plasterer/Renderer booked.

Old failed felt flat roof ripped up re boarded, Restec installed with an anti-slip top coat and will we was there they also wanted their other roof sorted. So sanded down, cleaned up and top coated.

Another great job completed up in Essex! 👌

This old, well-and-truly failed flat roof was in desperate need of attention, along with the demolition of the conservatory.

We got straight to work with the full strip-out and removal, then:
🔨 Re-insulated the roof
🔨 Installed new 18mm OSB boards
🔨 Trimmed everything up ready for the new insulation and the Restec Flexitec system
🔨 Fitted new fascia and guttering
♻️ Removed all waste from site, leaving everything clean and tidy

A productive Sunday, and another reminder that hard work really does pay off.
