We put in this temporary stud wall and door to keep the dust at bay, and even managed to rig up a temporary hob the other side of the wall to minimise the disruption to our client.

We’ve been very busy over the last couple of months with three bathrooms, a downstairs cloakroom and a kitchen. Here’s one of the jobs.

The brief from the customers was to create a downstairs cloakroom in the hallway and knock the seperate bathroom and WC upstairs into one.

Before we started, I dug an exploratory hole outside, to make sure I could get enough of a fall on the new foul waste pipe to make the downstairs cloakroom work. The main drain was fairly shallow and I needed to move the whole soil stack to accommodate everything. Thankfully it was feasible and this is the end result.

Garden Room / Workshop

Probably, hands down the job that I’m most proud of. ☺️☺️

Bespoke hand built, 7m x 4m timber frame workshop built, for a woodworking enthusiast.

The workshop was built off groundscrews expertly supplied and installed by Gravitas Groundscrews 👌👌

Shallow pitch roof, topped with a rubber membrane, complete with 20 year guarantee.

Inside walls were clad with OSB, making shelving and tool storage easy.

Outside was clad in soft green cement board and metal box profile cladding. Cement board for the sides that are visible from the house and the metal cladding for the sides that aren’t, as it’s more cost effective.

New armoured cable and electrics installed by Rob Sykes Electrics.
