Recently we’ve been asked to inspect and advise on a worryingly large amount of failed LVT floors , both Click & Stick down.
Either installed by customers themselves, multi trades , or more concerning other flooring contractors.
These floors are designed to last 20yrs so we see some really disappointed people. 😩

In nearly every case we hear the same comment …. It was the cheapest option! 😳

These types of floors are tricky to fit and some of the products on the market are just not fit for purpose.
Also a huge part of a successful installation is in the preparation, subfloors need to be assessed for moisture, stability and levels .
A quality assessment would determine the right screed and moisture control .

When we survey we also talk through the whole process, and the impact the installation will have on your home.

Today we celebrated Pete’s 60th birthday in true Rhosddu Carpets style… tons of cake and butties 🍰🎂🥪🥪

We often post about our younger members of staff , but rarely about our older colleagues.

Pete started with us 44 years ago, working his way up to be our senior carpet fitter , one of the best ever . 👌, laterally he’s now running our warehouse , which is a huge role for one man 💪
Pete’s incredible work ethic, loyalty, kindness , integrity ( and grumpy old man syndrome) are part of the fabric of our company, any new employee is given the same advice from Pete ……work hard and be honest…. Advice that’s just as invaluable today as it was 40yrs ago !
