Monster 30m2 ceiling skimmed today. So big in fact I needed someone push me round on a tower scaffold to do it. 48 and feeling it 😂😂😂

Bit of lime work following a water leak in an old cottage. Lime work is heavy work due to the materials and it takes s lot longer to dry than conventional materials. But in my opinion looks great and is satisfying work. Will post the complete job once the lime top coat has been applied.

Been a bit quiet lately on the old posting front, things have been getting busy at the start of the year. Anyway, here’s a couple of pics of some nice recent coving work.

Bathroom ceiling and wall plastered. When we stripped the wallpaper we discovered distemper. Distemper is an old limewash paint and has been properly treated before plastering. We love a challenge! Really pleased with how it turned out 💪

One of the ceilings skimmed this week for a customer in Yeovil. It’s not easy plastering up to finished walls but I’ve kept the edges crisp and clean to avoid unnecessary decoration for the client.

Another happy customer! “Plaster can cover a multitude of sins they say”! In this case it was a mixture of artex, plasterboard and existing old plaster. Really happy with the results.
