Right, 1st post in a year or so.

So once these customers had come back around after opening a quote for built in units from one of those built in bedroom places with the help of smelling salts they got in touch (via the website as always because I can't always answer the phone and I'll always ask you to go via the website regardless because we have the lovely Terri who deals with enquiries because I don't know how to use computers) I popped round and had a look myself, I then looked at the quote they were given and once they'd helped my back to my feet (smelling salts helped again) I said that it would be about four days work which it sort of was.
Mind you I did have to make a lot of dust so maybe bear that in mind.
All done for less than half the price that Kevin McCloud quoted and to be honest it's a better use of the space than standard sized units from the factory, another company actually refused to quote because of all the stupid old piped etc.
Oh and the price we charged was less than half the cost of just Kevin McClouds units, that didn't include fitting.

Please don't try to get in touch on Facebook because I only open the page whenever I post, which is probably annually because we don't advertise and I've always thought that anyone trying to flog services on social media sounds and looks a bit cheap, or dodgy, or cheap and dodgy. Or worse.
I know I certainly wouldn't hire a tradesman off social media so you definitely shouldn't either. Just my old fashioned opinion.

Plus I hate Facebook. I don't even know if this page is followed by anyone? How do you find that out? No idea.

York Handyman ltd is looking for new staff members. The job can be very flexible if required, as few or as many days work as required.
We are an established company who have customers solely in York so traveling is minimal however own transport is required.
The work is very varied and can be challenging so basic knowledge of a few different trades/skills is preferable.

Another happy customer.
I'm sure every carpenter has had to make do with with a joint that they are not pleased with at some point (probably hungover) but this is impressive. You can hardly see the mitre at all.

Well, that was a very busy August. 11 new shower rooms and 6 new kitchens alongside starting a full pipes and wires out refurb on a lovely big old Victorian home as well as our usual day to day small jobs. Exhausted.

We don't post too much on Facebook simply because I think it's a bit of a cheap and naff way to advertise but I suppose it may help a bit. If there is anyone else out there looking to replace 11 bathrooms, 6 kitchens or do a full refurb then do get in touch via our website.

Another bathroom finished.
Wall panely thingies around the bath which is all the rage for obvious reasons and proper tiling everywhere else.
Super crisp ceiling on this one, mirrored ceiling if you will.
Also a whopping 200sqm ph fan fitted to clear the moisture as it's a busy house at times.
(The hose on the shower will find it's shape with a bit of use)
