🚨 Soil Pipe Replacement Completed in Wheldrake 🚨

Called out to investigate internal leaks at a property in Wheldrake, York.

The issue was traced back to a soil pipe that had been installed without adequate supports. Over time the pipe had dropped, causing movement on the joints and this caused leaks inside the property 😞

⚠️ Always make sure gas work in your home is carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

While carrying out a boiler service today, we spotted this hob installation that had been connected using a tap connector rather than a gas fitting. It was leaking and could have had serious consequences.

Please don’t risk it by getting a friend or handyman to carry out gas work. Always use a qualified, registered professional.
