Another wee job over the summer to finish off the interior of this summer house.
A bit of retail paint on this one not something I would go for usually but it was ok for the price, after the mist coat it covered in 2 coats,extra coats on the reveals and the finish was nice and flat. Dulux retail not bad

A busy few weeks on catching up with those small jobs people want doing and a holiday too!

We worked on this property some years ago to add some colour to the hall, we were back again to brighten up this utility and kitchen diner .

A really tight one on 3 rooms one to refresh, forgot to photo that one 🙄 and a complete change of colour for this porch and utility with a feature wallpaper to welcome visitors

Just a small job this week as busy teaching and studying myself too as the end of term is close approaching.
It might be small but big impact a quick decoration of this wee room and installing this photo mural for a very lucky grandaughter ❤️❤️

Just a pop of colour added to these bedside tables is enough to tie all the different elements of this room together.
With a backdrop of Gentleman Grey by Benjamin Moore behind the bed giving a lovely deep blue background which really lets the pinky orange hydrangeas colour, also by Benjamin Moore sing.

This weeks job was a refresh of this beautiful entrance hall way originally painted white when the extension was completed, it was time to add some warmth without loosing the lovely light airy feel of the space.
Using the Benjamin Moore colour Lacey Pearl on the walls white anti reflex on the ceiling and Chantilly Lace on the woodwork I think that has been achieved.

This week’s makeover brief is to pull all the elements in this bedroom together.
I changed the pinky wall colour for more of a warm grey, soft wool by Valspar, the colour choice taken from the gorgeous wallpaper that was already in the room. I chose the green for the wardrobes from the paper too to make them more of a statement in the room rather than blending into the background, think it works really well against the red of the wood of the bed .
can’t wait to see all the decorative items back in the room to complete the look.

A painting rescue mission this week.
The rush to try and finish the new extension, decorating yourself before you move in ….. as it’s your bedroom it sits unfinished for the longest time, and as you get busy with life and don’t really have the inclination to finish it either, it waits and waits .
You loose the motivation, as your in there now, the priority to get it finished get further down the list …
Sound familiar?
I was called in to finish this lovely space A master bedroom, dressing room and en-suite, where this had happened.
Really enjoyed getting a really sharp finish between the woodwork and walls, took some prep but got there in the end!
The wall colour was skimming stone mixed in Valspar , scuffX on the woodwork and anti reflex on the ceiling
