Needed some snacks to take with me to see friends tonight, so some leftover Dough Bakery (York) ciabatta sliced thinly and tossed in Yorkshire Organic rapeseed oil, before baking golden brown, definitely hit the bill!

No bread baking for the last couple of weeks as I've been on holiday, but absolutely had to stop at Wye Bakehouse on the way home for some sourdough, which makes a particularly fine toastie for dinner when you didn't buy anything else for dinner except bread 😂

Something I've been wanting to try for ages is making , as the idea of a crisp, caramelised outside alongside a fluffy, soft interior always sounded like heaven. Luckily, at we make an absolutely amazing loaf of ! I think I might need to make this again; what do you think?
