🤝 Good work brings more than just results… it builds trust.

One of the biggest things behind our business isn’t ads or sales —
it’s our customers.

The recommendations.
The messages passed on.
The “you’ve got to use these lads” conversations.

That’s what really drives us.

We don’t take that lightly 👇
Every job is done knowing it could lead to the next one.
Every finish matters.
Every detail counts.

Because when someone puts their name to recommend you…
that’s earned, not given.

We’re proud to have a network of customers who trust us —
and we make sure we live up to that every single time.

Quality work speaks. People share it.

🧱 When DIY plastering turns into a climbing wall… 😬

We’ve all seen it —
A quick “I’ll have a go myself” turns into ridges, lines, and more texture than intended…

This one had it all:
❌ Uneven coverage
❌ Trowel marks everywhere
❌ Poor prep showing through
❌ And a finish that definitely wasn’t going to paint well

But don’t worry — that’s where we come in 👇

✔️ Proper prep
✔️ Clean, flat finish
✔️ Ready for decorating
✔️ No stress for the customer

Because plastering isn’t just about getting it on the wall…
It’s about getting it right.

👉 If your walls are looking more like a climbing wall than a smooth finish, we’re here to sort it.

🚿 Low water pressure from a tap or shower?
Before picking up the phone, try this:

👉 Unscrew the tap spout or shower head
👉 Check the filter/aerator for limescale or debris
👉 Give it a clean (white vinegar works wonders)
👉 Screw it back on

That’s it.

💡 Over time, limescale builds up and restricts flow — especially in hard water areas. It can make a perfectly fine system feel like there’s a bigger issue.

If that doesn’t solve it, then it’s time to dig deeper — and that’s where we come in.

Simple checks first. Professionals when it counts.

🚿 Silicone splitting around your bath? Here’s the real reason…

We get this call all the time —
“Can you re-seal the bath? The silicone keeps splitting.”

Truth is… it’s usually not the silicone’s fault.

In most cases, the issue comes down to poor bath installation ❌
If the bath isn’t properly supported or secured, it will move under weight.
That movement = constant stress on the seal = cracks, splits, and leaks.

💡 What should be happening instead?
• Bath fully supported (not just legs doing the work)
• Securely fixed to walls
• Minimal movement when filled and in use
• Silicone applied after everything is solid and stable

Because silicone isn’t there to hold your bath in place…
It’s there to seal a correctly installed one.

👉 If you’re resealing again and again, the problem’s deeper.

Fix the cause, not just the symptom.

Some of the best transformations start with unused space.

The cupboard under the stairs.
An empty corner.
A forgotten storage room.

Spaces that seem small, awkward or pointless can become something completely different with the right planning and vision.

An en suite.
A utility room.
Extra storage.
A whole new feature of the home.

Nothing is impossible — sometimes it just takes the foresight to see what something could be, not just what it is.

The potential is already there.
It just needs the right team to bring it to life.

📩 Got a space that isn’t being used properly? Let’s change that.

Good joinery is something you don’t always notice…
until it’s done badly.

Joinery isn’t just about cutting wood and fixing it in place. It’s about precision, structure, and making sure everything fits and functions properly for years to come.

Quality joinery means:

✔️ Accurate measurements
✔️ Proper joints and fixings
✔️ Level and square installation
✔️ The right materials for the job
✔️ Attention to the small details

Whether it’s doors, skirting, stud walls, cabinetry or structural timber work — the strength and finish of a space often comes down to the joinery behind it.

When it’s done properly, everything lines up, everything feels solid, and the finish speaks for itself.

Because good joinery isn’t just built…
it’s crafted.

Why do bathroom tiles crack or come loose?

It’s rarely the tile.
It’s what’s underneath.

This bathroom floor and bath panel were originally tiled onto poor preparation. Over time that led to:

• Cracked grout lines
• Hollow-sounding tiles
• Movement underfoot
• Tiles lifting

🚩 The real issue? Substrate failure.

Tiles need a solid, stable, correctly prepared base. If the subfloor flexes, isn’t primed properly, or the wrong adhesive is used, movement transfers straight through to the grout and tiles.

Grout cracking is usually the first warning sign.
Loose tiles come next.

For this project we:

✔️ Removed all failed tiles
✔️ Inspected and corrected the subfloor
✔️ Strengthened and properly boarded the bath panel
✔️ Primed correctly
✔️ Re-tiled using the appropriate adhesive and technique

Tiling isn’t just about straight lines and neat cuts.
It’s about structure, preparation, and long-term durability.

If your bathroom floor feels like it’s “giving” or your grout keeps cracking, it’s worth getting it checked before the damage spreads.

Built properly. Built to last.

Not all wood belongs in a bathroom.

Moisture changes everything.

Using the wrong timber in wet areas can lead to:
❌ swelling
❌ warping
❌ rot
❌ failed fixings and finishes

That’s why material choice matters.

For bathrooms, utility rooms and other damp spaces we typically look at:

✔ Moisture resistant MDF – ideal for skirting and panels
✔ Treated timber – better for structural areas exposed to humidity
✔ Marine or exterior grade plywood – great for strength and moisture resistance
✔ Solid hardwoods in certain applications

Standard MDF or untreated softwood in a damp environment won’t last.

Good joinery isn’t just about how it’s fitted — it’s about choosing materials that can handle the environment they’re going into.

Because the right material today prevents problems tomorrow.

Swipe to see some artistry ➡️

One of my favourite quotes when it comes to work is from Marco Pierre White:

“Someone who works with their hands is a labourer.
Someone who works with their hands and their brain is a craftsman.
Someone who works with their hands, brain and heart is an artist.”

That’s the standard we aim for on every job.

Working with your hands builds the structure.
Using your brain ensures it’s done properly.
Putting your heart into it is what creates something truly special.

Because great work isn’t just installed…
it’s crafted.

Be a craftsman.
Be proud of the work.
Be an artist.
