On The Fence York Ltd are looking to recruit a new member of permanent or part time staff to work both manufacturing and delivering our products to our customers around York.
The work is varied and will see you mostly working in our established rural workshops, producing gates and fence panels. There's also a range of duties to carry out in the yard, including loading customers, taking in deliveries, picking and preparing orders, maintenance etc. The work also involves going out and delivering completed orders. All in all, plenty of variety, in an environment where we all muck in and turn out work to be proud of!
The position would best suit someone who is familiar with power and hand tools and working with timber. A full UK driving licence is preferred and a Counterbalance Forklift licence would be an advantage, although this training can be provided. Specific experience of this exact role is not essential as full training will be given.
We're a small family led team and invite anyone who is hardworking and enthusiastic to come and talk to us to see if the role would suit them.
Standard Working Hours: Full time. Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
•£29000 - £36000 per annum (depending on experience/abilities)
Flexible part time positions also considered. With hours available Monday to Saturday
