Week 42 of 2024 🌷🐕‍🦺🌱

1. Wonderful to visit the new garden by
2. Lovely rainbow chard
3. Beautiful autumnal colours
4. Nothing beats a good crumble in a heart shaped
5. Lovely pops of colour
6. I love when spiderwebs are frosty or covered in dew
7. A ballon this week on a particular beautiful morning
8. Some lovely choccies we enjoyed. This was only one layer!

A great garden we did a few years ago that has really matured and come into its own. It’s lovely to see the gardens when they are in their prime!

Week 38 of 2024 🌸🍓🐕‍🦺

1. An absolutely gorgeous passion flower. So beautiful.
2. A hot air balloon taking off near our house this week. That was me up there a week ago!
3. A very healthy harvest of berries on the elder in our garden.
4. A garden design I’ve been working on this week.
5. My favourite dog always looking happy on one of our long runs.

It definitely feels like autumn now! Thinking back to warmer times in a garden we did a few years ago. It was wonderful to see the garden lived in and enjoyed by its owners and guests 🌸🌺🌷💐

Week 36 of 2024 🎈🪴🐕‍🦺

1. Lovely Rose hips looking bright and cheery in the garden. Very nice for syrup.
2. The damsons are here! Very happy to have collected a full basket of beautiful fruit. Damson jam incoming.
3. I was very lucky to be invited on a hot air balloon ride this week and it was wonderful to fly over York and the Yorkshire countryside.
4. What a view! The best way to see the A64 😂
5. Very delicious spinach and herb pancake from the Pig and Pastry.
6. Wild flower meadow now gone to seed. Still very beautiful.
7. Damson dog! She surprisingly quite likes the damsons. I’ve caught her nibbling a few in the garden.

Week 36 of 2024 🐕‍🦺🌱🥒

1. Lovely walk with Kibs on the North York Moors.
2. Another bumper haul from the allotment! Going to miss this when winter comes.
3. Beautiful poppy seedheads.
4. My favourite breakfast! Fruit off the allotment and homemade kefir.
5. Some lovely borage. Great for bees and adds a pretty pop of colour to salads.
6. Hard to resist these scones at The Pig and Pastry.
7. Cucumbers and marrows from the allotment. Don’t know what to do with them all!

Week 35 of 2024 🌹🍎🐕‍🦺

1. Beautiful plums on the allotment this week.
2. A very delicious (if I do say so myself!) apple and blackberry crumble made this week for the bank holiday. topping it off nicely.
3. I visited for the first time and met this lovely girl alongside learning about rewilding.
4. The produce on the allotment is just wonderful right now. We’re being spoilt with all the different kinds of berries.
5. My best girl joining me at the outside table in the garden.
6. More baking! An excellent plum tart made with the unexpected addition of rosemary. Would highly recommend.

Isn’t this a beautiful sight? Echini’s ritro ’Veitch’s Blue’ looking wonderfully and even better, it’s covered in bees.
