Introducing Garden of the Week 🌿

A space doesn’t need to be a garden to feel green. Sometimes, it’s the plants, the atmosphere, and the way nature is woven into the experience that changes everything.

This series celebrates spaces that make greenery part of how people live, work, rest, and connect.

First feature: Sealine View, a hospitality space where greenery shapes the mood as much as the architecture itself.

Know a space doing this beautifully? We might just feature it next.

Flower Fact Friday 🌿

Bird of Paradise looks like something ornamental, but it sits within one of the world’s premium flower markets.

It thrives in Ghana’s coastal climate and continues to show potential for floristry, landscaping, and commercial flower production.

Beauty has value too.

Some ideas grow from passion. Others grow from necessity. Sometimes, they grow from both.

This conversation with Verti Tower reflects a growing shift in how people are thinking about food, space, and sustainability in Ghana.

As cities expand and concerns around food safety continue to rise, more people are looking for practical ways to grow what they consume. Not everyone has farmland or large open spaces, and that reality is shaping new ideas around cultivation.

Verti Tower’s approach responds to that reality through vertical hydroponics. Growing more with less land, reducing dependence on weather conditions, and making year-round cultivation possible within urban spaces.

The thinking behind it goes beyond technology. It comes from an interest in greener living, cleaner cultivation, and giving people more control over the food they eat.

This is also part of the movement.

Meet the golden guardian of your garden! African Marigold isn't just pretty — it's a natural pest controller that protects vegetables while beautifying your space. Plant it alongside tomatoes, peppers, and beans for healthier crops.
