"H αισθητική της Χρυσοκώνας Μαύρου που υπογράφει τον διάκοσμο, μου αρέσει πολύ γιατί ισορροπεί ανάμεσα στο formal dining και τη σύγχρονη αρχιτεκτονική καθαρότητα. Οι αυστηρές γεωμετρίες στα μαύρα καθίσματα και τα τραπέζια με τα λευκά τραπεζομάντηλα συναντούν ένα φόντο πιο αφηγηματικό: τις τοιχογραφίες με θαλάσσιες και μυθολογικές μορφές που ανατρέχουν σε μια οπτική μνήμη της Μεσογείου. Ο φωτισμός παραμένει στοχευμένος, σχεδόν σκηνογραφικός, αναδεικνύοντας τα τραπέζια χωρίς να “καίει” τον χώρο. Το μπαρ, στο κέντρο σχεδόν της κάτοψης, λειτουργεί ως σημείο αναφοράς. Επενδυμένο με μάρμαρο που αποκαλύπτει την υλικότητα της πέτρας και φωτισμένο έτσι ώστε να αναδεικνύεται η υφή του, προσθέτει έναν τόνο χειροποίητης πολυτέλειας στη συνολική εικόνα."
