Micromega Architecture and Strategies was founded by Alexandros Zomas and Mara Papavasileiou. The team embraces architecture as a strategic vision and continuous process, within a vast context of urban influence. Micromega Architecture and Strategies operates through an extended network of collaborators and has participated in several projects and competitions in Greece and abroad.

Eréma Hotel joins the Design Hotels collection. Villa Ormus lands in Condé Nast as one of Crete’s hidden gems. We took part in the 3rd Architecture Summit, exchanging ideas with leading professionals and exploring new directions in architecture and construction. And as [eso] alumni, returning for this year’s event felt like coming back to a conversation that never really stopped. And the month closes with the 12th Biennale of Young Greek Architects — two projects have been distinguished and a full post on that is coming.

Our team is growing.
At Micromega, every project begins with a story — rooted in place, culture, and the way people experience space. It’s how we think, and it’s what we look for in the people we work with.

We are looking for architects and designers, in senior, junior, and planning roles, to join us across the full design process, from concept to detailed design and delivery, on projects spanning hospitality, residential, and strategic urban scale.

Saha Maza Hotel draws from its Egyptian context, reinterpreting local craftsmanship, tactile surfaces and bold colour palettes as an homage to the country’s arts and crafts heritage, creating an experience deeply connected to place.

A tactile language of materials, that is designed to be felt as much as seen.
