GOODBYE TO ARCHITECTURE AS WE KNOW IT!
Phill Bernstein former vice president of Autodesk and dean of the Faculty of Architecture at Yale University, predicts through statistical analysis by Goldman Sachs, that in the medium term, the most achieved by Artificial Intelligence will be architecture and engineering.
It is estimated that by the year 2030 37% of professionals in architecture will be achieved by artificial intelligence, which means being “replaced” by independent machines that will do the work done by these professionals.
However, he mentions that the solution is to work together with artificial intelligence to co-create and thus achieve final solutions that AI alone cannot provide.
Because of this, some universities in Mexico such as the University Panamericana de Aguascalientes are already modifying study plans to use AI as an indispensable tool for the professional training of architects.
