tenance and repair comes from our experience in the field of marine from 1969 but also from having permanent, qualified , with long experience and excellent know-how staff. This, allows us to undertake the complete project from design and analysis to manufacturing and installation, for the new building industry. Compliance is operational not just regulatory. Fuel changeover must be smooth, safe, and repeatable.
MAFCS R&D program, focuses on an innovative, autonomous, automated fuel change system from HFO to MGO, combining a refrigeration unit and automated control valves (change-over valves) to achieve a smooth transition without interrupting engine operation.

What makes it “industry-relevant” is the automation logic:
🌱 Incorporates engine operating conditions and GPS/geolocation elements to automate changeover when approaching Emission Control Areas (ECAs)
🌱 Includes a cooling cycle to bring MGO toward the required conditions (e.g., ~18°C noted in the project material)

In short: fewer manual steps, lower operational risk, and a more controlled transition during a critical procedure.
