Urban Hospitality or Premium Residential?
Not every residential building should be illuminated as a landmark.
In contemporary residential developments, architectural lighting often faces a fundamental design decision:
Should the building project a strong nocturnal identity towards the city?
Or should light primarily support the experience of those who live within it?
Although both approaches may appear attractive in renderings, they create profoundly different relationships between architecture, light and human experience.
This distinction became particularly evident during a recent lighting study developed by Reflect Lights for a new residential development in Thessaloniki.
