Join us for an upcoming lecture on October 17th at the National University of Singapore, where Rocco Yim explores the essence of architecture inspired by Hong Kong's urban conditions. Discover how traits like resourcefulness, flexibility, practicality, and inclusiveness shape Hong Kong's unique architectural identity, resulting in innovative design strategies such as stacking, mixing, linking, blurring, and embracing.
During the lecture, Rocco will discuss selected projects from our office, including the East Kowloon Culture Centre and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, among others. These projects serve as examples that demonstrate how these principles create meaningful architectural works within the city's social and physical context.
