The ground-floor of serves as a public interface. A whimsical Captain Leo is there to greet you, inviting you to enjoy specialty coffee, explore an art exhibition, or shop for bespoke lifestyle goods. Floating digital displays, inspired by a stock market heat map, reimagines cold financial data as fluid media art.

The first floor is a collaborative space bathed in natural light, designed to bring both new and experienced members together. The versatile layout and bespoke, brand-coloured furniture are perfect for hosting events like investment academies. The cantilevered glass corner on this floor, resembling a ship’s bow, offers a panoramic perspective of the iconic Peninsula Hotel and Space Museum.

Recently we transformed investing app into Longbridge Café, integrating stock trading with art, tech, coffee, and beer.

Anchored at a prominent corner in Tsim Sha Tsui, the 8,500-square-foot café spans three levels. Its striking facade features three monumental yellow columns that suspend the first floor like a bridge, while a 30-meter-wide glass wall opens the interior to the city, as a nod to Longbridge’s commitment to openness and transparency.

Thank you HKIA Awards for recognizing the Tsui Ping River Revitalization project!

This urban architecture has transformed a drab drainage channel into a vibrant river park. We are proud of the improvement it has made, not only to rainstorm flood control, but also to local ecology, biodiversity, and the Kwun Tong community, successfully bringing our city closer to nature.

This award is shared with a fantastic team, including our clients DSD & EKEO, our collaborators Atkins, Kimhung Design, Inverse Lighting, and the Build King–Richwell Civil Joint Venture.

The undulating ceiling of the Vantage, adorned with textured paint finishes and embedded LED light strips, captures the flowing muscles and powerful body of horses in motion, creating a dynamic and immersive atmosphere. Both the twisted fins and CNC-engraved wall surfaces feature flowing patterns that create an interplay of light and shadow to mirror the natural sheen of a racehorse’s toned skin, visualizing the beauty of their athletic form. These innovative design elements add depth and intrigue to the space, drawing attention and sparking conversation.

The seating honors centuries of equestrian heritage with diamond-quilted upholstery, echoing the meticulous detailing of master saddlery. Each piece combines luxurious comfort with sophisticated craftsmanship, creating a tactile connection to the noble sport’s timeless elegance.

Vantage is designed for a sophisticated hospitality experience that celebrates the pure athletic grace and noble beauty of racing horses. The centerpiece of Vantage is a sculptural bar, reflecting the strength and beauty of a racehorse. Its sweeping silhouette offers a striking focal point. The DJ booth next to it orchestrates the ambiance with curated music, infusing energy and excitement. Hong Kong Eco-Pavilion has been selected by the jury of Architizer A+ Award as a Special Mention in the category of Sustainable Interior! An estimate of 1,000,000 tons of waste is produced by trade shows each year, as exhibition structures are often used only for a few days. We designed the Hong Kong Eco-pavilion at Maison&Objet in Paris as a reusable system made of recycled materials. Using 3D-printed eco-bricks as modules, the system is adaptable to various forms and arrangements for multiple exhibitions. Made of recycled PET bottles and aluminum, these bricks are structurally efficient, lightweight, stackable, water-proof, and durable, minimizing carbon footprint while achieving longevity. After its initial exhibition in Paris, the pavilion is currently on its third exhibition at the Hong Kong PolyU Material Resources Center.

Kudos to all LAABers and collaborators who have worked on this project!

We are currently exhibiting Intelligens: Venice Architecture Biennale 2025 at commaa in tandem with the festival happening in Venice right now. While the Architecture Biennale is a huge event for architects, it remains unfamiliar to many who work in other professions. As one of the exhibitors this year, we would like to host this self-initiated exhibition in .hk to make the festival more accessible to everyone.
In this exhibition, we explore this festival’s theme Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective in two parts. Part I involves a reflection of our projects where our colleagues have grappled with various aspects of this year’s theme, including intelligent living, kinetic architecture, kinetic science, collective intelligence, and material circulation. Part II curates some of the most exciting exhibitions our exhibition team brought back from Venice, including international exhibitions, national pavilions, and the Hong Kong pavilion.

We hope you enjoy this year’s festival as much as we do!

We are thrilled to be a part of 19th Venice Architecture Biennale “Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective” curated by , sharing our community project “The Last Sawmill” in the Hong Kong Pavilion under the theme “Projecting Future Heritage: A Hong Kong Archive” curated by .i.n.g.z .studio .archi.biennale.hk

“The Last Sawmill” is a community project we did six years ago to document the architecture and the family history of Chi Kee when it was under the threat of demolition.

The factory was now gone but the stories of wood live on! Through telling Chi Kee’s stories at different platforms, we hope to preserve a part of our city’s industrial heritage that is at the risk of extinction.

Thank you to all LAABers who have worked on this project then and now, and to .ig for partially supporting this initiative!

Unveiling TOP BOWL, a 40-lane professional bowling alley at the Kai Tak Sports Park in Hong Kong.

Inspired by Kai Tak’s aviation past, our design incorporates fluid, aerodynamic forms that echo both aircraft maneuvers and the perfect trajectory of a bowling strike. Overhead, a sculptural ceiling system reinterprets aircraft architecture, while custom pendant lights—combining the motif of paper planes with lane-guiding arrows—provide functional wayfinding and a playful nod to aviation. These features transform the space into a contemporary tribute to Hong Kong’s aviation heritage.
