Whirlwind visit. Profound inspiration. ⚡️

Alan recently took the stage at PULSE Ostrava, bringing our diverse projects and Asian design perspectives to an incredible global line-up of architects, designers, and creative visionaries.

Housed inside a stunningly revitalised coal-mining complex, it was the perfect backdrop for dialogues that truly matter. The absolute highlight? Alan sharing the Main Stage and Forbes Stage for meaningful discussions alongside Eva Le Peutrec, Principal Architect at CASUA s.r.o.

As PULSE Ostrava rolls out the carpet this week, we’re ready to dive into the conversations: how architects, designers, and creative thinkers can collaborate to turn modern complexity into tangible growth and impact.

PULSE has become a vital platform for these types of necessary conversations, and we’re ready to dive in.

Alan will be sharing the stage with Eva Le Peutrec (CASUA s.r.o.) to discuss the realities of building in Asia and how to navigate the different cultural expectations between Asian and European landscapes.

We’re looking forward to sparking fresh ideas with Ostrava’s community of architects and creative minds.

"Practice makes perfect"—and that includes the way we express consent. Interaction is a part of our lives, and with it comes a natural responsibility to honour one another’s boundaries, regardless of the setting.

Guided by the theme of the 2024–2025 Impact Report for 關注婦女性暴力協會 Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women, onebite created the Consent with Emotions Kit as a welcome pack for ACSVAW donors - one that helps integrate these vital practices into our daily routines.

Becoming the first architectural practice in Hong Kong to achieve B Corp certification remains a defining milestone in our 10+ year journey. We are constantly exploring how to leverage the B Corp network for the greater good, which is why we were honoured to participate in B:COMING Summit 2026 - the inaugural B Corp Summit in Hong Kong.

The event was a unique opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and innovators from Hong Kong and abroad. Our very own Sarah also took the stage to share our journey and the milestones we've reached with the audience.

A huge thank you to ECHO ASIA for organising this. We look forward to many more meaningful dialogues ahead.

If the Stoics traded togas for tech, they’d be at POLIS—the "Seriously Unserious" hub by HKPA 香港遊樂場協會 at The Mills, where Socrates might live-stream a debate and Plato would contemplate his "Theory of Forms" via our convex mirror walls.

Folding partitions and movable furniture seamlessly transform the space from a daytime café to an evening speakeasy. The interior juxtaposes sleek metallic finishes with playful pops of colour, creating a living container that encourages users to transition from quiet reflection to high-energy collaboration.

VIVAIA approaches sustainable footwear with a persistent focus on the harmony between environmental integrity and ergonomic support.

The VIVAIA × PURE Yoga Wellness Day in Hong Kong allowed for this dedication to foot wellness to be articulated through a bespoke installation. Inspired by the revolving rhythm of a washing machine, the structure serves as a luminous visualisation of how machine-washable utility settles into a contemporary routine.

This May in London, we want to change how you look at social impact design forever.

At this year's Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 - also marking the 15th anniversary of this important global design festival - we’re unveiling “The Fountain of Technicolour Beads”, created with our material partner Leigei Stonee, known for its precision‑engineered reconstituted-stone surfaces. The installation turns the often-invisible reality of Colour Vision Deficiency (CVD) into an experience you can walk through, using precisely coloured, tactile stone beads to show how texture can communicate where colour alone falls short.

We’re calling on designers, architects and social impact design enthusiasts to seek it out during Clerkenwell Design Week (19–21 May), experience the installation first-hand and join the conversation: in a city like London, are we designing for the average eye, or for every eye?
