【香港圖書空間奪得 Asian Design Awards 金獎】

適逢今天是世界閱讀日，我們很榮幸見證本地圖書館空間的一個新篇章。 本司自2019年開始改善本地的圖書館設計，以心重塑不同的空間，從學校圖書館、社區圖書館、地區圖書館至中央圖書館，希望來自不同的讀者能感受空間的溫度和設計帶來的美好。

我們很高興在 Better Future – Asian Design Awards 中榮獲 “金獎” 殊榮! 對團隊而言，這不只是設計上的肯定，更是對香港公共閱讀文化的一次重要的鼓勵，衷心感謝主辦機構的認同，讓世界更多人見證了來自香港的設計。

設計從社區出發，保留大量館藏的同時，引入更具彈性的家具與自助借還設施，讓不同年齡層都能輕鬆在圖書館裡閱讀、交流與停留。 每一所圖書館都不再是倒模式空間，而是承載故事與記憶的社區客廳。 在今天，我們希望把這份榮耀，靜靜獻給每一位仍然願意走進圖書館、翻開紙本、與文字細心相遇的讀者。

【Hong Kong Library Space Wins Gold at the Asian Design Awards】

On World Book Day, we are honored to witness a new chapter in the evolution of local library spaces. Since 2019, our team has been involved in enhancing library environments across Hong Kong. With a people-centered approach, we have reimagined various spaces—from school libraries and community libraries to district libraries and the Central Library—so that readers from all walks of life can experience the warmth and beauty that thoughtful design brings.

We are delighted to receive the Gold Award at the Better Future – Asian Design Awards. For our team, this recognition goes beyond design excellence; it is a meaningful encouragement for Hong Kong’s public reading culture. We sincerely thank the organizers for their recognition, allowing more people around the world to witness the creativity and spirit of Hong Kong design.

Rooted in the community, our design preserves extensive collections while introducing flexible furniture and self-service borrowing facilities. These enhancements make it easier for people of all ages to read, connect, and spend time in the library. Each library is no longer a static, one-dimensional space, but a community living room that carries stories and memories. Today, we dedicate this honor quietly to every reader who still chooses to step into a library, open a book, and engage thoughtfully with the written word.

【美國 International Design Awards 大放異彩】
很榮幸宣佈我們的Orbital Dawn 在 美國International Design Awards (IDA) 成功在70 個參賽國家/地區的作品中脫穎而出，獲得金獎的肯定🎉
本年度的 IDA 的頒獎禮位於泰國曼谷，在近年最具代表性的高端購物與文化活動的地標ICONSIAM中盛大舉行，讓世界各地的設計師踏上紅地毯並享受湄南河畔的美景佳餚進行交流。最後我們不負所望勇奪金獎! 衷心感謝 IDA 主辦單位及國際評審團對「Orbital Dawn」的肯定， 未來我們會繼續讓空間設計上探索更多可能，努力將香港設計傳播世界。
獎項背景:
IDA 於 2007 年在美國創立，是由 Farmani Group 發起的國際設計獎項，旨在表彰具創新性、功能性及社會價值的優秀作品，涵蓋建築、室內、產品、平面及時尚設計等多個範疇，評審團由各領域資深專家組成。 多年來吸引世界各地設計師參與，被視為具國際影響力的專業設計獎項之一。

【Shining Bright at the International Design Awards (IDA), USA】
We are honored to announce that Orbital Dawn has triumphed at the International Design Awards (IDA), standing out from submissions across 70 countries and regions worldwide to receive the prestigious Gold Award 🎉
This year’s IDA Awards Ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand, at ICONSIAM—one of the city’s most iconic destinations for luxury shopping and cultural events. Designers from around the globe gathered to walk the red carpet, enjoy fine dining along the Chao Phraya River, and celebrate creative excellence. We are thrilled that Orbital Dawn has earned this international recognition, and we sincerely thank the IDA organizing committee and the esteemed jury for their support. We will continue to explore new possibilities in spatial design and dedicate ourselves to showcasing Hong Kong’s creative spirit to the world.

About the Award:
Established in 2007 in the United States by the Farmani Group, the International Design Awards (IDA) honors outstanding works that demonstrate innovation, functionality, and societal value. The competition encompasses architecture, interior, product, graphic, and fashion design, with an international jury comprising experts from various design disciplines. Over the years, IDA has attracted visionary talents from around the world and is widely regarded as one of the most influential global design awards.

很高興我們的項目「Luminous Library」獲得美國教育設計媒體 Education Snapshots 的專題報道。這個位於香港的中學圖書館以「Light of Knowledge」為設計概念，一道由天花凝聚而下的光柱在空間中央化作光環，層層向外擴散，勾劃出不同功能區，象徵知識在校園中不斷循環、成長與蔓延。
感謝 Education Snapshots將我們的美學理念傳播，讓更多人看到香港的教育設計。

We are delighted that our project “Luminous Library” has been featured by U.S. educational design media Education Snapshots. Located in a Hong Kong secondary school, the library is conceived under the design concept “Light of Knowledge”: a beam of light converges from the ceiling and transforms into luminous rings at the heart of the space, gradually expanding outwards to define different functional zones and symbolizing knowledge that continuously circulates, grows, and flourishes throughout the campus. Once again, we would like to thank Education Snapshots for bringing our creative and aesthetic vision onto the international stage of educational design.

【 Verdant Embrace 】
設計以「自然擁抱知識」為核心理念，通過流動的空間規劃和多層次的綠色，營造出一個猶如森林般的閱讀環境。這裡書籍與自然相互交織，讓學生彷彿置身在知識的綠洲，在翠綠樹蔭的庇護下，自在地探索和汲取智慧。
設計師希望這不僅是一個學習場所，更是一個心靈的綠洲，讓知識與自然在這裡共舞，孕育未來的希望與光明。學生在這樣的環境中得以自由探索，從而激發創見與熱情，為人生積聚前行的力量，讓學生在翠蔭的擁抱中，悄然書寫屬於自己的知識篇章。

The design of the Verdant Embrace library centers on the core concept of “nature embracing knowledge.” Through fluid spatial planning and layered shades of green, the library creates a forest-like reading environment. Here, books and nature intertwine, making students feel as though they are immersed in an oasis of knowledge, freely exploring and drawing wisdom under the shelter of lush green canopy.
The designer hopes this is not just a place for learning but a spiritual oasis where knowledge and nature dance together, nurturing future hope and light. In this environment, students freely explore, sparking creativity and passion, accumulating strength to move forward in life, quietly writing their own chapters of knowledge within the embrace of verdant shade.

【 Light of Waves 】
設計以「浪潮」為主題，靈感來自海浪之間的碰撞與融合，形成層層浪花，象徵文化、知識、音樂與藝術的多重浪潮匯聚於此。項目位於學校地面層，旨在打造一個多功能、充滿活力且富有啟發性的學習與交流空間，為學生帶來耳目一新的體驗。

The design project is centered on the theme of "Waves," inspired by the dynamic collision and fusion of ocean waves, which create layers of surging crests. This imagery symbolizes the convergence of multiple waves of culture, knowledge, music, and art. Located on the ground floor of the school, the project aims to create a multifunctional, vibrant, and inspiring space for learning and interaction, offering students a refreshing experience.

對我們而言這個會發光的燈泡，不只是一個獎盃，而是一個被點亮的念頭。無論是透過營造沉浸感的體驗去鋪陳故事的起承轉合，還是讓用家在黑暗中被細節溫柔照亮，都代表了我們對設計的信念。感謝一路與我們同行、願意為這道光停下腳步的每一位，我們十分榮幸能把這份具國際影響力的榮譽帶回香港，讓我們的設計繼續發光。

For us, this glowing light bulb is not just a trophy, but a spark of an idea being lit up. Whether it is through crafting immersive experiences that shape the rise and fall of a story, or gently illuminating details for users in the dark, it all reflects our belief in design. Thank you to everyone who has walked alongside us and paused for this light; we are truly honored to bring this internationally recognised accolade back to Hong Kong, and to let our design continue to shine.

【 Luminous Library 】

圖書館以「知識之光」為設計概念，光束自天花凝聚於中央，形成一道圓融而溫暖的光柱，向下投射至圓形櫃台，並如漣漪般向外擴散，層層界定出不同的功能區域。這道光不僅是視覺的焦點，更象徵著真理的傳遞與智慧的啟發，引導學生在光的軌跡中探索、思考與成長。

The library's design concept is "Light of Knowledge." A beam of light converges from the ceiling at the central point, forming a rounded and warm light column that projects downwards onto the circular service desk, then spreads outwards like ripples, defining different functional zones in layers. This light is not merely a visual focal point; it symbolizes the transmission of truth and the inspiration of wisdom, guiding students to explore, think, and grow along its trajectory.

昨日有幸出席頒獎典禮，非常榮幸能與來自世界各地的傑出設計師們齊聚一堂，共襄盛舉。衷心感謝 HKASD International Sustainable Design Awards 國際評審團的認可，也感謝團隊一直以來的努力與創意。

在來自全球二十多個國家與地區的眾多作品中，我們的項目「Orbital Dawn」很榮幸獲得 🏆 Global Grand Award 與 🏆Aesthetic Visionary Award 兩項殊榮。這不僅是對設計美學的肯定，也是對我們在商業空間中實踐前瞻性思維的極大鼓舞。

我們將繼續以設計推動創新，讓美學與發展並行。

It was an honor to attend the awards ceremony yesterday and to join distinguished designers from around the world in this meaningful gathering. My sincere gratitude to the HKASD International Sustainable Design Awards (ISDA) international jury for this recognition, and to my team for their continued dedication and creativity.

Among numerous submissions from over twenty countries and regions globally, our project ”Orbital Dawn“ is honored to have received both the 🏆 Global Grand Award and the 🏆 Aesthetic Visionary Award. This recognition is not only an affirmation of our design aesthetics but also a tremendous encouragement for our forward-thinking approach in commercial spaces.

We will continue to drive innovation through design, ensuring that aesthetics and progress move forward hand in hand.

【 The Confluence Library 】

圖書館以「生命之河」為設計概念，更以「川匯」象徵為智慧如百川匯集，如同生命的源頭滋養空間，激勵學生在此汲取養分，豐富心靈與智慧。天花板懸掛的三色吸音板猶如多條河流匯集融合，彼此交織流動，形成詩意的律動感，象徵多元知識在此交匯，激發創新思維與靈感的火花，帶領着每一位學生進入這知識的川流中。

The library is conceived around the "River of Life" as its core design concept, with "convergence" symbolizing how wisdom, like countless streams, gathers into a mighty flow. This river nourishes the space as the very source of life itself, inspiring students to draw sustenance here, enriching their minds and intellect.
