Puzzle roof
The triangular house designed by the Tetro studio in the Belo Horizonte agglomeration also has a roof made up of triangles – solid and glazed.
The house in Lagoa Santa was named "Tangram" after a famous puzzle that involves constructing figures from predominantly triangular tiles. Its laminated timber roof is designed in a similar manner: its large overhang helps protect the interiors and verandas from the tropical sun.

SISB School Thonburi Phase II / Plan Architect
Singapore International School of Bangkok, Thonburi phase II is the expansion phase for the secondary students, which the new site sits inside the existing one. In the new phase layout, the 2 buildings are aligned on the back edge to create the big green activities space sharing between both phases. The main school function consists of classrooms, auditorium, gymnasium, library, administration office, staff rooms, and common area.
The main concept of this school is to create a space where students can learn from architecture together with play and stay in all circumstances. The building's shape is designed in a linear shape with 8-meter width double-load corridor in front of each classroom. This space can be used as a common space and circulation at the same time. To avoid lacking natural light and ventilation, the building is separated into two parts and additional halls to let the wind and sunlight come into the building.

The Linden Centre Shaxi Community Campu
The Linden Centre Shaxi Community Campus is nestled in a new national park in Shilong village, along a trail from the historic town of Shaxi in Yunnan, southwest China.
Drawing inspiration from local building traditions, the project employs communal construction methods, where villagers work together using techniques passed down through generations. Traditional materials like stone, rammed earth, and timber are combined with modern elements to create a harmonious blend of old and new.

Museum of Ethnography Budapest
The Museum of Ethnography is already recognized as one of the most exciting contemporary buildings in the continent. Evidence of that, it was voted for the Best Mega Futura Project of Europe (as part of the Liget Project) at the MIPIM Awards 2017 and has won the fiercely contested title of World’s Best Architecture at the 2018 International Property Awards.

The new building of the Museum of Ethnography in Budapest City Park (Városliget) was opened (on 23/05/2022). The multiple-award-winning new museum building – which is part of Europe’s largest urban-cultural development called Liget Budapest Project - designed by FERENCZ, Marcel; Napur Architect - has dynamic yet simple lines simultaneously harmonized with the park environment and communicating with the surrounding urban area.

The gently curving lines enable the building to function as a gateway and a passage linking the city and the park. Sixty percent of the structure is under ground level, and thanks to the landscaped roof and the transparency of the sections over the ground, the new museum is adapted to its environment in its scale too. The grass-covered roof area will be a pleasant community space awaiting visitors to Városliget.

Nisarga Art Hub / Wallmakers
Nisarga Art Hub is an initiative by a family of musicians to make a community residency where people can interact and congregate for art and cultural events. The site was near a paddy field, with the traditional “Kerala Roofs” being the only feature crowding the horizon around it.

The building is designed like music- where the pauses between the notes are more important than the notes themselves. Where the built architecture stops and the empty spaces in between speak volumes.

Studio / Bunkhouse _ James Cutler, FAIA và Beth Wheeler
Conceived as a multi-use building, this 80 sq ft studio/bunkhouse was designed to fit carefully into its natural context, located just 30 feet from the main house.

The building was framed by an 11-year-old and her dad with rough-sawn Douglas Fir from a nearby sawmill. The framing lumber and shiplap sheathing were exposed in order to display the nature of the structure. Rigid insulation was applied, then finished with 22-gauge Corten steel “shingles” hand-cut from sheets of the material.

Designed to have a folding desk and beds, the building can function as a bunk house for the 11-year old, a design studio for her dad, and, when everything is folded, a poker room for her dad’s friends.
Because of intermittent power outages, 4KW of batteries and an inverter/charger are hidden behind the rolling file cabinets. The family can then use the building during those events. The building is heated by a highly-efficient cast iron wood stove and a small 2.2 cubic foot refrigerator, concealed under the stove.

The building has surprised the designer/builders by becoming the de facto family / media room for the main residence.

A Thai home that teaches all dogs new tricks.
The structure was designed for a man who deeply loves dogs. The starting point for the home was to create a place where not only he could live but where his dogs could also fully enjoy themselves. He also desired to share the space with other dog lovers by transforming a section of his dog’s house into a canine hotel, where other dogs could share the facilities, meet one another and have access to dog care and salon services at the back of the house

The structure’s exaggerated apex roof form is made from a polycarbonate and aluminium sheeting with gaps where trees grow through. The space is open to the outdoors, while still having a sense of enclosure.

Functional elements, such as columns that double as a sleeping spot for dogs and easy-to-clean steps in the swimming pool, were also designed to suit both human and dogs. Additionally, the roof was designed without gutters to allow water to touch the ground directly. All of these design choices aim to foster closer relationships and mutual respect between humans and other living beings..

Design Strategy. The organization of the visiting path is the crux of museum design and the one and only opportunity to interpret and illuminate the historical environment of the mausoleum. In other words, it is of even greater importance to properly deal with the relationship between the architecture and the distinctive venue than the design of the building space: the dialogue with Mount Li and the conversation with the mound are essential for the integration of the museum and the site, making it an indissociable part of the mausoleum.
The visiting experience of the museum is not limited to the interior of the exhibit halls, instead, the tour begins and ends at the exterior space of the museum. Entering, within, and exiting the museum are three carefully curated segments of the visiting, with their individual way of spatial organization and visual planning ideas, equally valuing the remarkable environment resources and the cultural relics.
