【✨🎬Journey to the Light】

🎥Hong Kong has recently released a highly anticipated blockbuster film that has become the talk of the city. Additionally, the 81st Golden Globe Awards have just taken place overseas. The film industry seems to be thriving this year, and there is a close connection between film and architectural design. The proportion of characters and spatial settings within the film, the continuity between each shot and scene, and the involvement of architects in computer-generated special effects to create virtual past and future worlds have all been significant trends.

Our company is fortunate to be involved in the design and renovation project of the second floor of Sunbeam Theatre. The newly added cinema features a unique 180-degree projection screen, which is exclusive to Hong Kong. The design combines nostalgia with the presentation of light and shadow in the future. By walking up the stairs to the second floor and passing through different levels of a time tunnel, the audience is taken from reality into the vibrant world of movies.

Sunbeam Theatre opened in 1972 and has a history of 51 years. As a cultural landmark of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong, it was ranked seventh on Time magazine's list of "Asia's Must-Visit Experiences" in 2009. The Cantonese opera performed at Sunbeam Theatre has been nominated for UNESCO's list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, giving it international recognition. There have been reports indicating that Sunbeam Theatre may face demolition in the future, which would be a great loss.

【✨🎬光影之旅】

香港剛上映一齣大制作的電影🎥，成為城中熱話，國外亦剛舉辦了第81屆金球獎，今年的電影業似乎相當熱鬧，而電影與建築設計亦是環環相扣。電影內的人物與空間場景比例，每個畫面鏡頭之間的連繫，再者近年很多建築設計師也投入了電腦特技的製作，創造了很多虛擬的過去與未來世界。

我司有幸參與新光戲院二層的設計翻新項目，新加的電影院部份提供了一個全香港獨有的180度投影屏幕。設計結合了懷舊與未來光與影的展現。由步入走上二層的樓梯，穿過不同層次的時光隧道，帶觀眾由現實進入電影的多姿多采世界。
新光戲院於1972年開業，直至現今已擁有51年歷史，它作為香港的粵劇文化地標，2009年曾獲得「時代雜誌」選為「遊客不容錯過的亞洲體驗」第七位，新光戲院所上演的粵劇，為聯合國申報為最值得保留的人類文化遺產，擁有國際性的知名度。有報導指出，新光戲院又將面臨清拆的命運，未來或許將不復存在，未免有點可惜。

Creativity arises from the fusion of different aspects of arts and everyday life.🎭

Both dance and architecture are art forms that express aesthetic beauty and emotional resonance though manifestation, space, and rhythm.

The exhibition of Huang Yulong at VPANG office was concluded with a great success. It was our honour to have Mr. Lau Siu Ming, renowned dancer and artist of Hong Kong, to join the opening. We had a precious time exchanging thoughts with the two esteemed artists and we would like to express our highest respect to them.

Artist Huang Yulong captures rhythms and forms in hip-hop culture and elevates them into art piece with deeper value. In the photo, Mr Lau’s calmness contrasts with the strength expressed by Huang's artwork "Be my side”, creating an intriguing juxtaposition though the distinction between solid and void.

舞蹈和建築都是通過形式、空間和節奏來創造美感和情感共鳴的藝術表達模式。

在辦公室的藝術家黃玉龍展覽圓滿結束，在展覽開幕時，🙏感謝香港殿堂級的舞蹈家和藝人劉兆銘先生蒞臨，藉此機會回顧一下我們與兩位藝術家之交流及向他們致敬🫡。

藝術家黃玉龍捕捉了他在嘻哈文化中體驗到的律動和形態，昇華為更深層次的藝術作品。在相片中黃玉龍的作品”Be my side” 與劉兆銘先生的一剛一柔，一虛一實，相映成趣。😎👍

【Architectural Journey 築跡】

搬到新辦公室已一年多，這個空間的轉變不僅反映時間的流逝，還印證了我們的成長。在這裏的每一次設計決策都體現出作為一名建築師一直以來的學習和成長。我們相信良好的工作空間可以啟發創造性和提升工作效率，讓我們能更好地為客戶提供服務。這些年來，我們有幸參與了許多令人興奮的建築設計項目，從大型商業建築到個人住宅。我們期望未來亦會在這空間創作出更多精彩項目。

It has been over a year since we moved to our new office. The transformation of this space denotes the passage of time and also the development of our team. Every design decision made here serves as a testament to the knowledge and growth throughout my career as an architect. We believe that a well-designed workspace inspires creativity and enhances productivity, enabling us to better serve our clients. Over these years, we have been fortunate to participate in numerous exciting architectural projects, ranging from large-scale commercial buildings to individual residences. We are looking forward to creating more remarkable projects here in the future.
