Radovan Winery, Radovani, Croatia
Set among vineyards in central Istria, the Radovan Winery is the result of a decade-long journey that brings together architecture, landscape, and a family tradition of winemaking.
The winery is partially embedded into the terrain, with the cellar carved into rock and covered by a green roof that blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. Above it, two glass pavilions house the tasting area and production services, opening views toward the vineyards and the distant Adriatic.
Visitors are invited to experience the entire winemaking process—from the tasting room, through a visual connection to the barrel cellar, to the wine shop—creating a clear and engaging spatial sequence that connects production and hospitality.
Developed in collaboration with Studio 3LHD, and completed with the dedication of a large interdisciplinary team, the Radovan Winery reflects patience, craftsmanship, and respect for place—values shared by both architecture and winemaking.
