𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗩𝗔 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄!

A quick reminder to catch our lecture on the Main Stage this Friday at 14:00.

We will be deconstructing our 3rd Prize-winning Rákosrendező Masterplan and discussing why we believe regional collaboration is the future of Central European urbanism. This project started with a simple conversation at this very festival, now we are back to show you the result.

Our colleague Máté Antal will be there to walk you through the process of how our international team of architects, sociologists, and engineers turned a shared vision into a prize-winning reality.

Stop by and say hello.

What began as a meeting of minds at Pulse in Ostrava and Prague has officially come full circle. We are returning to the 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝘀𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 to share the story of a partnership that moved from a handshake to a 3rd Prize win in the international Rákosrendező Masterplan competition among a shortlist of 16 world-class teams.

For our consortium spanning the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, the UK, and Switzerland, this project represents the true potential of the Pulse network. The foundations of our partnership with CHYBIK + KRISTOF and Tillner & Willinger were laid during previous editions of the festival in Ostrava and Prague. What began as a professional acquaintance evolved into a friendship and a powerful regional collaboration.

Following our selection as one of the shortlisted teams, we are proud to announce that our consortium has been awarded a 3rd Prize for our proposal in the Rákosrendező Masterplan international design competition.

Our vision for this 244-hectare site focused on creating a resilient, human-centric urban fabric that integrates the districts of Angyalföld and Zugló. By prioritizing blue-green infrastructure and a revitalized Rákos Creek, our proposal sought to establish a sustainable model for the future growth of Budapest.

We would like to congratulate the other winners and thank the City of Budapest for organizing a competition that fosters such critical dialogue on the future of metropolitan development.
This achievement was made possible through the collaboration of our multidisciplinary team:

We are delighted to share that our consortium has been selected as one of the 16 teams invited to participate in the international design competition for the Rákosrendező masterplan, chosen from a field of over 43 applicants.

This project represents a significant opportunity for the development of Budapest. The brief calls for the renewal of a 244-hectare railway site that currently separates the districts of Angyalföld and Zugló. The core task is to stitch the city back together, creating a sustainable new quarter centred around a major public park and a revitalised Rákos Creek.

We are proud to be working alongside a distinct group of partners on this complex urban challenge:

We look forward to the months ahead as we develop our proposal for this critical part of the city.

We're thrilled to announce that 3XN and NAUTES have been awarded the second prize in the architectural competition for the Natural History Museum in Debrecen!
Our design is driven by the museum’s central narrative: the dynamic intersection of nature and culture. We see this institution as a landmark that integrates seamlessly into Debrecen's ecological and cultural fabric.
More than just a repository of artifacts, this museum is conceived as a living, breathing entity that fosters curiosity, strengthens our bond with nature, and champions sustainable living. The architectural concept is deeply inspired by its setting within the Great Forest.
Envision a journey that begins along curated woodland pathways, where visitors transition gradually from the organic landscape into a built environment that feels like a natural extension of the forest itself. At the heart of this design is a circular volume, carefully placed within a clearing, which embraces a trefoil-shaped courtyard. This design choice underscores the museum's commitment to environmental awareness.
Our vision seeks to establish the museum as a pivotal cultural and scientific destination, celebrating innovation and sustainability while enriching the experience of natural and cultural heritage. This project represents a bold step toward creating a landmark of sustainable design and promoting a deeper appreciation for our planet.
