Yesterday, another drawing class took place at the Lengyel Intézet. This time, the participants were given the task of drawing one of Warsaw’s streets using one-point perspective, the basics of which they had learned during the previous class.

In the next session, we will return to the drawing to finish it, refine the details, and complete the work with shading.

There are still some spots available in our course – feel free to sign up! :)

A painting workshop at the Lengyel Intézet focused on abstract art under the theme “Deep Cuts.” The same title is also used for an exhibition at the Platan Gallery, which we had a chance to visit for the opening reception during the class.

I’m incredibly happy that a week ago we held the first drawing and painting class at the Polish Institute, which I had the pleasure of teaching. ✨
The participants did an excellent job, and their works — especially for beginners — turned out truly impressive and full of potential.

During the class, we worked on observation skills and the ability to carefully examine objects, because this is the foundation of painting and of accurately capturing reality on paper. We focused solely on identifying shadows on the objects — and everyone succeeded beautifully!

Very soon, on Tuesday, November 18th, we’ll meet again! 🎨💛

The renovation of the church has begun! 😊

We started our project on the left half of the church. The first stage of the work involved removing loose fragments of plaster from the walls. After that, all wall surfaces were carefully cleaned using a specialized Washab sponge, which allows for the safe removal of dirt and impurities without damaging the original structure or historic paintings. We also carried out plaster repairs, filling in holes and damaged areas.

The walls have now been impregnated to protect the surfaces and prepare them for the next stages of painting and conservation.

🕊️ The aim of this project is to restore the church to its proper technical and aesthetic condition, ensuring that it continues to serve as a sacred space for prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth for generations to come.

With great joy and a deep sense of responsibility, I would like to share that we have officially begun the interior painting works at the Polish Church.

On Monday and Tuesday, scaffolding was installed, allowing us safe access to the full surface of the walls and vaults. This marks the first step in a renovation process that will continue for just under three months.

Together with my team — five experienced conservators and artist-painters — we are undertaking this project with full commitment and respect for the sacred space, its history, and its spiritual significance.

I would like to thank Personalna Budapest for the trust placed in me by entrusting the organization, coordination, and the artistic side of the wall painting work to my care.

This is the beginning of a demanding, yet truly meaningful process, which I look forward to sharing with you as it unfolds. ❤️

Today I had the pleasure of consulting at the Lengyel Intézet on the selection of interior colors – walls, carpets, and furniture. Together with the director, Jarosław Bajaczyk, we worked on a new idea for the space. Great atmosphere and inspiring conversations – now I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the transformation!

Here’s the floor plan of the apartment featured in my latest interior design project :)

Miki had a clear vision: the flat should have a separate kitchen with a sofa for guests to sleep on, and a living room with a sleeping sleeping area also – a proper bed, not just a couch! :)

Take a look and see how the space comes together 🖼️📐😊
