what if a home could feel bold and grounded at the same time?
this three-story residence started with something simple: basic cubic forms. by shifting and layering each volume forward and backward, the design creates a facade that feels like a composition of stacked boxes, clean, modern, and visually striking from every angle.
but strong geometry alone wasn’t enough. to make it feel right for Bali, the structure is softened through warm natural materials, earthy textures, and a more open relationship with light, air, and landscape. the balance between crisp architectural lines and tropical warmth creates a home that feels modern without losing its sense of place.
every pushed or recessed form shapes not only the exterior identity, but also how light enters, how spaces connect, and how the house breathes throughout the day. it’s layered, intentional, and designed to feel both elevated and effortless.
modern in form, tropical in soul. this home is a study of contrast done right. bold yet warm. structured yet relaxed. a contemporary box-like composition, reimagined for island living.
