PT Certis was established in Jakarta during May 1997 when the first name was given as PT.CISCOMAS Sekurititama. PT Certis’ name was changed on 13 May 2008, to become “PT. Certis Cisco” in accordance with the head office name, operating from Singapore which has been running as a security service company since 1958 mainly focusing on protection services and securing assets in transit, operating unde
r the management of the Singapore Police Force, and consequently privatised in 2005. The Indonesian company name was changed on 24 February 2011 to PT. The name “Certis” is taken from the Latin word, “certe” which means assurance, a quality that over the years has become a distinguished characteristic of the company, where standard operating procedure implemented by PT. Certis adopted from Certis International Pte, Ltd. adjusted for Indonesian culture and conditions. Certis started to occupy its new building at Boulevard Bukit Gading Raya, Kokan Permata Gading Block C, Nr 20, Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara as proof of the company’s ongoing efforts to keep on improving and expanding.
