RB+WA House Yazahra 5.0
Location: Mataram
Status: Built
Land Area >270 sqm
A house is no longer defined solely by its size or comfort, but by its ability to frame everyday life with meaning and intention. This project explores the idea of domestic architecture as a spatial narrative, where form, proportion, and atmosphere work together to support contemporary family living.
The residence is designed as a layered environment that balances openness and privacy. Social areas unfold fluidly, allowing conversations to emerge naturally, while quieter zones offer moments of pause and retreat. Each space is carefully calibrated to respond to different rhythms of daily life, from informal gatherings to focused discussions.
Architecture here is also experienced visually. Strategic viewpoints and spatial sequences are composed to create moments worth remembering, allowing the house to be both lived in and admired. These carefully framed perspectives encourage emotional attachment to the home, while leaving visitors with a lasting architectural impression.
Rather than acting as a static object, the house evolves as an active setting for interaction, reflection, and connection. It becomes a place where living, hosting, and representation coexist seamlessly within a contemporary architectural language.
