As one approaches the new barista coffee bar one notices a great red slab that extends from the inside throughout the sidewalk. This, an invitation to enter and to remember the north of parana, region of the "terra rossa" (red soil) and place where barista's coffee is produced.

The Barista ceiling itself is composed by suspended wood slats, it instigates curiosity. A simple ambience, tasty and cozy.

The red floors inside is extended to the outside, overflowing the perimeter of the house and qualifying the access.

As if the Bali Gods were with us, we landed our very first job even before launching the website! Woohoo! 🥳
Client is a friend, Fabien, who wants to build 2 villas in Uluwatu on a 10 are plot of land he just acquired.

A 3 bedroom villa for holiday rental and a 2 bedroom villa for his personal use.

Now those aren’t your regular villas…
Red swimming pool and beds on rails that move outdoor to sleep under the starry sky are just some of the nutty features the villas will have.

Can’t wait to see those babies in real life!

After huge success of the next door store project, Roots constructed all its projectual effort by repurposed industrial floor into facade design. An unique element, the gate, composed by metallic orange plates, gives the necessary highlight to its surroundings, swamps between door and seal with the touch of a bottom, and considering both seasons in Indonesia. Roots came with solutions when the facade offers protection of a marquise and its maximum connection to the street.
