We have been busily working on new products for the Spring Summer season and will be sending an e-mail in a week or two to show them all to you. But today there was no cutting or sewing happening at our workshop because it was Tumpuk Landep, the Balinese holiday that honors all tools made of metal and celebrates sharpness of mind. In Balinese culture the mind is considered the greatest tool and most effective weapon in fighting problems like poverty and ignorance.
In these crazy times, we hope you will take a moment to join us in being grateful for the tools we have (yes – just say thank you to your sewing needles and kitchen knives) and also, please take a moment to honor yourselves, and our human endeavor to tackle problems and make the world a better place.
